AgostinoMedia 3
Hi, I have the occasional film that has subtitles that show up in Emby as .UND Sometimes they play fine. Sometimes, it seems it can't distinguish between which languages are contained therein, and thus tends to only show the Chinese subtitles. The ones that play fine, I believe, contain only the English. In cases like these, I try to replace the movie entirely with a different version, if I have such a choice available. Otherwise, I have to watch it outside of Emby. I wonder if you've encountered this before?
Luke 37161
Hi, we don't try to detect the language inside the subtitle file. It's up to you to name the subtitle file with the language in the file name. How are your subtitle files named?
AgostinoMedia 3
Ah I see! Yes in this case the subtitle filename did not have a language specified in the filename. It simply shared the exact moviename.sub in this case. So in the future I should do moviename-ENG.sub? or any appearance of ENG would do it?
