Lumpe86 0
I'm running emby 4.6.7.0 on my synology nas DS218+ and dsm 7.0.1. I use emby basicly for my photo library, because DS Photo from synology was set down. I have add an additional user in emby, but unfortunately, I dont see any way to limit the viewing rights for this user. Are there any setting options to give this user separate rights for specific albums? Thank you very much, sorry for my bad english, greetings from germany. Luke 37170
Hi, you can use library access to control user access to top level folders: https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44001160272-content-access And then a number of content restriction features that we have for content underneath if that's not enough: https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44001160251-parental-controls Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
Lumpe86 0
Hi Luke, thanks for quick response. I solved it by using the tags. Simon

Carlo 4330
Depending on how you have things setup using Folder based access control might be easier https://support.emby.media/a/solutions/articles/44001160108. This would allow you to set this once in Emby with you controlling where media is added to disk vs having to tag things after it's scanned into the library.
