No Surround-Sound with Emby for Android TV on HiMedia Q5 pro

Hi,
I'm using the emby kodi addon for years on my HiMedia Q5 pro mediaplayer.
With the wrapper app it is possible to start the movies with the HiMedia-videoplayer instead of kodi videoplayer.
But unfortunately i can only use native mode and there i have no cinema mode to play trailer before the movie starts.
When i try to use addon mode, the plyback over the wrapper app with the himedia videoplayer doesn't work.
I was in touch with quickmic but we found no solution. Perhaps he will try if use of (local) trailers will be possible in native mode.

After that i have tried to install the emby app for android tv and it worked.
I can access my libraries and of course i can start and watch movies.

BUT...
Only stereo sound is coming to my av receiver. (see attached screenshot emby_stereo.jpg)
When i start the movie with the mediacenter directly on the mediaplayer (smb) it gets played with the himedia videoplayer and the sound gets passed through. (see attached screenshot himedia_atmos.jpg)

any ideas why i only get stereo sound when i play the movie in emby?

I got it working by external player:
Settings>Playback>Enable "Use External Player for Videos".

But there is no trailer before the movie when i play the movie with external player.
Is this a bug or a feature?

Also i didn't get a season theme (act.christmas) on emby for android tv. Activated it on server and emby app.
With the same user on my fire tv stick i get the season theme.

Can you please play that item for a few seconds and then follow the instructions to send a log from the app?

Did you select the theme in the app settings?
