Hi everyone. I hope one of you can help me out here. Can you advice me the best remote control apps for my Minix neo-x7? I'm looking for the apps which can give me an opportunity of controlling my TV-box just through my phone. And after some time standart menu themes became booring for me. Are there additional launchers for my tv box?
Any ideas?

Thnaks for participating.

Setting XBMC to be your launcher with the Titan Skin works great, and allows you to launch Android apps from the program's menu etc.

In the future I'm hoping to be able to set MB3 App with a nice 10' interface to be my "launcher" :)

Yeah, if you are using the MINIX to run xbmc and xbmb3c then Yatse is the hands-down absolute best remote out there.

You can also use the xbmc web controls in a pinch

I've tried MB3 app but it has some problem. You know i like watching films in original so when i play video steam with subtitles turned on - the picture stoped after 3-4 seconds.

Thank you for the information. I've found Logitech Harmony remote control but it works only with google tv. Don't you know about some remote control apps which can work stable on RK 3188 devices?

I don't know very much about the mb3 android app's capacity for web control or other . . . I think you can use the mb3 web client as a remote?

What I asked wasn't about running red shirt's mb3 app though, but running xbmc instead with xbmb3c integration
