zBernie 16 Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 After installing Disk Station Manager 7 I was able to install Emby using DSM instead of side loading it. Emby is now prompting me to update. Do I use DSM to perform the update when it becomes available? Or download it and updated it manually? Happy Thanksgiving!
Solution FrostByte 5257 Posted November 25, 2021 Solution Posted November 25, 2021 The old repository hasn't been used in a very long time now. Either use DSM package Center to manually update using the spk from GitHub, or wait for it to arrive in the store.

Thanks for confirming that it can be updated via the Synology package updater when available. 1
FrostByte 5257 Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 Yes, hopefully Synology will have it updated soon. Did you install from the store the last time you installed?

I have no compelling reason to update Emby, so I'll just wait until it's available in the store. -Thanks 1
