Box Set Collections not downloading folder.jpg

I had mentioned this on the old forum but a couple updates later, and a few new box sets added, thought i should bring it back up.

 

I created some box sets today, 'Bad Boys Collection' for example, 

 

Steps Taken:

 

1. Create New folder 'Bad Boys Collection'
2. Move Existing Movies 'Bad Boys' and 'Bad Boys II' into new collection folder.
3. Create blank new file in collection folder called 'collection.xml'  (sometimes server will automatically create folder.xml if you dont do this, and that causes the web interface to not let you add collection http link for themoviedb.org. different issue, type it up later.)
4. Open web interface and edit collection, add collection link from themoviedb.org and SAVE
5. Hit Refresh
6. Meta info, description, images, all download, EXCEPT folder.jpg

I have had to manually copy every folder.jpg from themoviedb.org for every collection recently.

I'll test this out,but #3 is not true so you don't need to do that anymore.

 

Actually - it's ok if you do that. You need to either do that or have [boxset] in the file name.

AHHH!!!! did not know about [boxset]  but ill keep to the xml.

 

I did notice that the folder.xml issue is gone now.

 

but ya still no folder.jpg

When I was testing before boxset, I found out best to make the folder name: Bad Boys [boxset] 

 

Then MB3 will get everything fine for it and will fetch images if it found.

i tested using abo's method and had no issues.

yup... worked without interaction at all... didnt have to edit the collection and add the link either.

there may be some issue with plugin interaction. try your manual test with a new boxset again but first remove all plugins.

nailed it. 

 

Removed plugins:

Trakt

Coverart

Trailers

 

Restart server

Manually setup a collection, and BAM. Folder.jpg shows.

It's a pita, but can you continue to test adding back those plugins one at a time. I'd like to take trakt of the table. Or fix it if necessary.
