Spacefred 0
I have a headless FreeBSD 12 server (no X11) and installed the latest emby from ports - It looks like its working but I ran into these 2 issues: - Samba413 was removed during install to be replaced by Samba412 - the install failed and I had to clean it up manually but that could be a 'pkg' issue. The problem is that I am stuck with that version of Samba now. If I try to upgrade to Samba 413, my system removes emby as well. Is there a hard dependency on this version? - I got the following errors with fontconfig which I expect are because I don't have X11 installed. Is this going to be an issue with emby? [3/81] Installing fontconfig-2.13.94_1,1... [3/81] Extracting fontconfig-2.13.94_1,1: 100% Running fc-cache to build fontconfig cache... alucryd 216
We don't use samba anymore, we'll have it removed from the official port. As for fontconfig, these look like warnings, you should be okay. You shouldn't have issues with the current state of your system, please let us know if you do. Hopefully we can have the official port brought up to speed quickly.
Spacefred 0
Thanks for the reply - Works fine so far - I was worried about subtitles if there was a font issue but so far so good
