Hi,

apparently Emby does not support multple MUSICBRAINZ_ARTISTID tags. for example: b95ce3ff-3d05-4e87-9e01-c97b66af13d4 c0f98b1d-1133-46d6-ab05-723a95cb5453 appears as a single person instead of Eminem and Obie Trice.

However, it would be nice if it gets supported :)

Hi, this already is supported, but the number of artist IDs need to match the number of artist names in the embedded metadata

This way for example, the second mbz id gets used with the second artist name.

So the artist cannot be Eminem feat. Hailie Jade but has to be Eminem/Hailie Jade?

I tried to do it with Eminem/Hailie Jade and emby detects it and show them sperated as Eminem;Hailie Jade however, the artist still has to id b95ce3ff-3d05-4e87-9e01-c97b66af13d4 3d357e4a-c240-444a-bae4-c9e85a288b5d

Good to hear. Don't know why I couldn't get it working, but it caused me problem awhile back so I stopped using it.

Yes, i think that's the issue that I was having. I haven't run into that issue yet when using ; .

yeah but I really dont want to use ; if / is the official character. luckily I have not much of these and can fix it manually in emby

Understand. I use mp3tag and their official character is ;. So maybe it depends a bit on the tool used to update the metadata.

The server supports either of those as the separator in this case.

Yeah but I also switched to use ; because it seems that as soon there is a space within the artist name, emby is not able to parse the / correctly. Using ; works fine. However, this is not proven and just an observation but I could be wrong
