Metadata genres gutted by Genre Cleaner, unable to mass refresh

Hi all, I'm in a predicament where I accidentally set Genre Cleaner to only Action, which then did a purge of all my other genres. I'm trying to reset the metadata for all my movies to their base state, but have hit many snags.

What I have tried: I have deleted my library.db file in the data folder of my server and ran "Scan media library" several times now, once with genre cleaner uninstalled, once with genre cleaner with no settings in it, and several times with the genre cleaner with a few different genres listed. Deleting my library.db file doesn't seem to be clearing the genres and refilling them in the way I'm expecting.

An example: The film Arrival (2016) should have, according to TMDB, Drama, Science Fiction, and Mystery as its genres. I just ran a full library scan, with Genre Cleaner having all three of those genres in it. However Arrival in my library is listed as solely Science Fiction.

If I manually click Refresh Metadata, voila, it's perfect.

So my main question here is, how do I automate refreshing the metadata throughout my whole library?

Hi.  Select "Refresh Metadata" on the library itself.

Also check your library options and make sure MovieDb is the highest priority movie fetcher, if that's where you want genres to come from.

Somehow didn't click that this would work. Thank you!
