netherking 0
Server OS: Ubuntu Server 20.04.3 I'm trying to play The Office on my Samsung TV but when I try to play any episode, it shows the loading screen but it keeps loading and if I try to go back to the menu, it doesn't stop showing the loading screen until I exit out of the app. It works on most other devices like the web app, Apple TV and Fire Stick, its only the Samsung TV with this problem. I hope I uploaded the right logs. embyserver.txt ffmpeg-directstream-4e071f18-f68d-418d-aefd-a2af64e26cac_1.txt
Luke 37180
Hi, can you try installing a newer version of the Samsung app via usb? https://emby.media/emby-for-samsung-smart-tv.html Please see if that helps. Thanks.
rodainas 188
That's a h264 high 10 (bit depth 10bit) file, that format is problematic, I would try converting it to 8bit or replacing the file with a 8bit file. You can try forcing a transcode to play it on the TV, it will be the only way to play that file on your TV.

netherking 0
Sorry, I haven't tried fixing the problem in a while but I decided on just getting a different quality version and it's been working good. I also noticed for the one I had problems with, the devices it does work on was transcoding and had stuttering problems and that is also fixed now. Manually converting it was complicated and time consuming. Thanks for the help though I'm not sure if I have to close this or if someone else is going to do it.
