I have tried multiple episodes from the same anime and Emby crashed. I have tried other anime and couldn't produce the issue To produce, play an episode form this show and skip to 21:30. Wait until the app crash at around 21:40. mediainfo is provided at the end of this post. Emby is intalled via docker on remote server, and media are mounted from Google Drive using rclone. I grabbed the log after reproduce the bug using Samsung S21 Ultra, but I can still produce the same issue on my OnePlus 5T. I can play them fine in browser, and Plex plays them fine as well. For these logs, I had to remove my domain and replace with "domain.tld" since files are publicly available to everyone. I can PM if actual domain is needed. If so that's usually an indication of there being some defect in the media itself. Sometimes just remuxing the files can fix an issue (especially header errors). NailClipper 3 Posted September 2, 2021 Author Share Posted September 2, 2021 I haven't tried remuxing them yet because I need some time infront of PC to do that. But shouldn't the app display a proper error, and not just dissappear from user's screen completely? Browser can play fine, doesn't that mean Android app also can handle it somehow? Anyway, I installed Android TV app on my phone and those episodes play fine, no crashing. Wouldn't it be possible to fix the Android phone app if Android TV app can do it properly? If you see in the logs I uploaded, you can see requests are being fulfulled by ip6.domain.tld. That resolved directly to my server ip, because I disable cloudflare proxy on it.
