anon123 2
Hi all, hope you are fine? Have the following issue: Had a previous version running on DSM 6 and updated my Synology to 7 (but didn´t read the forum regarding the migration path...). I´ve had a look in my SSH connection but didn´t found anything within /volume1/Emby as long as the Emby folder is still not there. Right now I have the issue, that the Emby 4.6.4 installation didn´t create the emby user or any other group on my Synology. I think that´s the reason why I´m not able to create a new content library and start out of scratch right now because there is no user i can give permissions to my content. Any suggestions? Solution FrostByte 5059 Posted August 17, 2021 Solution Share Posted August 17, 2021 Sounds like you missed the last section of the guide Emby is now a System internal user under DSM 7. anon123 2
Hi FrostByte, but that´s exactly my problem, there is no "emby" user.
FrostByte 5059
You need to use the drop down and change to System internal user. See my pic
