hello, thanks

for some reason, i cannot find a global setting for force all listings to be list/folder mode, not primary mode.
i am sure there must be a way, but i have clicked on each and every setting and cannot find that setting.
perhaps i need to edit a config file?

thanks,

Sorry currently there is no way to do this.  This is currently a per folder option.

This would be a huge UI win, to offer this global control. Has it been considered for development? I confess I don't even understand the use case for offering list, but only for individual folders. If you are browsing by directory structure, why would you want list for only a single folder?

Hi, yes it has. We don't know yet how things will shape out, but we agree that UI settings need to be a little easier.

Has this ever been delivered?

I have just been looking for such an option.

Hi, not yet, but we are planning on revamping user settings in future updates to allow for greater server-side control. Thanks.

Nothing like other features that have a higher priority.  But the future is always just around the corner.
