Jason Richards 0 Posted August 5, 2021 Share Posted August 5, 2021 Hello, I have an issue with the Emby app, it used to work and i cant figure out why its no longer working. On the local, no issues. When remote the Emby App displays my server but connection always fails. I am, however, able to connect via a browser remotely. Both http and https ports are forwarded to the server. Carlo 4331 Posted August 5, 2021 Share Posted August 5, 2021 Based on what you said this test should work but lets give it a quick test. Go to www.canyouseeme.org and do a test using your Emby port. Jason Richards 0 Posted August 6, 2021 Author Share Posted August 6, 2021 Hello Cayars, Thank you, both ports 8096 and 8920 work. I am using a dyndns name, to connect. I'm not sure when it stopped working (as I seldom use emby away from home with COVID), but I suspect it might have been after I bought a lifetime subscription after my initial annual subscription ended. I am not sure if this is relevant but the initial subscription was done via apples app store, whilst the lifetime was done on Emby's website.
