Just checking if there has been any progress on this issue and what the plan might be going forward. On the latest 2.2.21 IOS app and carplay is still pretty unusable.

Just to add to this. I'm having the same issue. Emby App 2.2.21 air playing music to Apple HomePod Mini. 2 feet across the desk to me.

Hi there, the problem is most certainly an automatic stop of the recording by Emby if the signal of the program was interrupted (too long...). Perhaps this could be changed so that the recording actually lasts as long as you want or have specified?

Really would appreciate the feature if that timeout was in the config, because i'm running into the same issue. Why does ffprobe need to fetch the whole file in the first place? I've got a workaround by letting the crawler job restart every hour. then it catches the files from local davfs cache ...

My Shield Pro continues to show recently added movies .. the changes are not immediate .. but they appear maybe a week or so later .. ?

That's exactly what that should be. It is loaded with your unwatched movies sorted by date added (descending). As you add or watch items that list should change. However, many new versions of Google TV don't even have the ability to show those channels so they have not been getting tested a lot.

Hey @Daniel8192, I made some experience now with the Pl. I feel more comfortable now. As os I run dietpi. From my point of view non skilled Linux users supported best. As apps I run PiHole, home assistant and emby server. My external drive I connected to my Nvidia shield. In the meantime docker as a new topic pops up for me. I now plan to build a smal media server. Unfortunately I bought a Pl 4. I better brought a PI5 that Emby transconding is supported ...I now plan to go for a PI 5, power supply, case and internal 2.5, 5 TB sata hard drive or external. I did not find the right case so far. As an alternative maybe a refurbished thin client makes sense. I like the idea to have everything in a smal box. Important is that power consumption idle is < 5 W. As os I would like to use dietpi. The I will install docker and portainer. Emby , home assistant and PiHole should run then as docker. I will test this on my current PI. I suppose that I have to setup emby totally new or is there a way to restore the dB and all the user folders? If I remember right, on windows this was no problem.

Hi. Once logged in, try going to the app startup setting and changing it, then change it back. I'm not sure what is goofing up but that process should re-save the server address.

It is not a part of our current development plans but is on our "like to have" list. It is a very large task that I doubt a majority of our users would benefit from so I would not say it is imminent.

No one has fessed up, but I suspect @Lukeis crossing these off without consulting us. Luke, are you crossing these items off? If so, can you please consult with us first when a change is made in beta so we can confirm if it's done or not?

To save a queue is a bit hidden and not that obvious behind a cog wheel Could maybe instead the queue interface be changed? like add a header to the queue and add butons like clear queue, shuffle queue, convert to playlist, etc Could the artist images not be round, it looks weird in my opinion compared to movies/tv shows The suggestions page looks boring on bigger screens, i have no clue on how to improve this Why not use the artist image on atleast mobile phones and instead use the backdrop? i do not mind it, i most of the times like the backdrop more but it feels inconsistent Why is there a dedicated movies/tvshows button on the mobile app but not music, it has always thrown me off, could it maybe be removed? i do not know the usage base for this, if it stays could music be added as well if the space allows it, i do not think so and in some miracle way, could music videos get some more love?
