I use "quick removal" but i am not sure if it really matters much. as far as DivePool goes I do not remember that exact cost as I got it years ago, See DrivePool for the info you need, They are also very good about answering questions. Hope you have a good day.

Well @LukeI've got the same problem, downloading a season (with the option "download only unplayed videos" enabled) and watching a few episodes soon leads to all other episodes being deleted. I downloaded a season with 51 episodes (several gigabytes) and watched the first two episodes. Then I've got an error, that ep 3 could not be found. The reason: Emby just deleted it! Without any valid reason at all. I hoped that it may be fixed by installing the latest versions of Emby Theater and the Emby Server, but to no avail. It still happens all the same... And it's not even bound to one device, as it also happend on my "XReal Beam" the same as on my "Samsung Z4 Fold". I'm not able to test it on other systems than android for now. But on android the error seems to be happening consistently. That's a severe bug of your application as you can't predownload any series for travels anymore! Hope you're able to fix it soon. (I've got a lifetime subscription, so there shouldn't be any issues here)

The figures on TVDB are just what someone has put in. It is so common that I'd call it usual that a whole show will have the length specified as the same, an average rounded to a nice figure. TVDB has no access to the actual videos to measure them, and often nor do the people inputting the metadata - I myself have put in a show for which no public source exists, with the lengths just taken from old broadcast listings. Hi, I recently bought myself an Asustor AS3302Tv2 (The newest ones) and I created an Emby server via their apps. The server is super good and works super smooth. Some videos I play them on 1080p 60 mbps and its running flawlessly when others are unwatchable because it lags or buffer even with lower quality. I play everything locally so internet connection shouldnt be an issue but still I have internet 100/50. Asustor is wired and pc or lg tv is wifi. When I start a video, on the process tab of the asustor, i can see ffmpeg goes to 95% cpu usage while other videos that goes smooth only runs at 17% cpu usage. Emby server is at 4.8.6.0. I'll provide more info if you need. Thanks for helping!

Yes. the turn off of HHDs is actually very similar, but worse, than allowing sleep if a drive is off Emby has to wait for it to get to speed before even beginning processing and that just adds unneeded overhead to Emby. As far as my number of drives goes. I mostly, use a hub (actually two) to spread the load out. Some hubs are better than others and i went through about four before I found a hub that worked correctly. I have so many drives because I have about 47 gb of data and I use DrivePool's duplication feature for about 2/3 of that. In other words I have the data so I need the storage. BTW: If my library seems large there are people here that have MUCH larger collections. I could trim it down at least half but I think that since I own the media it should be available for me to watch. Others use the understandable excuse of having many users but I have only me but i still want all my media available all the time. I use "device manager" and went through every device it listed and, in it settings I think, turned of every option that involved turning off power. It seemed like even many USB ports had power management features and i turned all of them to the setting where Windows just leaves them alone. I think I stumbled of other power options and I turned all of them to whatever assured that the power would never be interrupted. My server is just not ever allowed to sleep or spin down or power off anything. Windows does not like it when you take power control away I I make a general check after any updates. After the last one I found that two of my drives had been reset to allow sleep. I changed that back to where i wanted it but it is possible that the update process does not take enough care to avoid changing settings. If you know Linux you might want to consider moving you server there. I have not mainly because I cannot find a good replacement for DrivePool under Linux. The other reason is that I mostly understand Windows a LOT better that I do Linux and servers can, occasionally, get complex and Linux might bring a complication to the party that requires expertise beyond what i have in Linux. Also I am getting old (76) and excessively complex problems can frustrate me and that is actually not good for my health. I hope this helps. Edit: Yes turn off any form of sleep you find. No form of sleep is good for servers. I do not even sleep my monitor, but i do turn it off when I am not actually working on my server.

Firefox 119.0 on Kubuntu 22.04 desktop, emby server 4.8.7.0 running on Ubuntu 22.04 server. Emby Premiere license. With HTTPS-only mode enabled in Firefox, and when accessing my server via https://app.emby.media, I don't see any show images under Recordings, TV Shows, Movies, or Live TV. Opening a TV show shows the background image of the show, but no rectangular banner (just empty space where it would be). With HTTPS-only mode disabled, but still accessing my server via https://app.emby.media, all images load as expected. I can literally just toggle the HTTP-only mode, then refresh the https://app.emby.media tab, and see the images appear or disappear based on the HTTPS-only setting. Oddly enough, with HTTPS-only mode enabled, but an exception added for the app.emby.media domain, the images still don't load. I expected them to load with the exception added...maybe they load from a different domain? Images also load with HTTPS-only mode enabled, when browsing directly to my server using the external address of https://example.com:8920/ (using the real domain name) or http://192.168.x.y:8096/ (using the real internal IP address). I'd like to keep the HTTPS-only mode setting enabled in Firefox, but I'd be OK with adding an exception if that could work somehow as well. Any idea why HTTPS-only mode doesn't work, or what needs to be added for the exception to work?

While the <icon> tag is indeed used for logos, the xmltv.dtd also defines a dedicated <image> tag that can specify types of images like posters and backdrops. The trailers plugin in the catalog adds a Trailers library and channel. It does not add trailer buttons to your movies. The trailers are then presented under the trailer channel. There is a way. The same person who wrote the Movie & Theme songs plugin also has a private plugin offered in their signature to obtain trailers so the entire process works within Emby. Cannot be hosted on the catalog for legal reasons but you can get it from his website. You can also use the stand-alone application Media Companion to obtain trailers with your media. Once you store these locally with your media the Roku will provide a trailers button to play them.

I found that my power options had turn hdd off after 20 mins would this have caused all my problems ? i have switched it to never and have come across option hybrid sleep should i also turn off hybrid sleep or leave on ? & also allow wake timer setting is set to enable should i keep or change ?

Hi, Been 4-5 days and still the remote user bryde4 is streaming above the restricted limit? The server & clients have been rebooted. All other users are fine but I had logged into the local emby server as bryde4 to do some tidying up for them but for some reason emby thinks the remote connection is local, even though in the dashboard it is showing as a remote connection? Then what is it related to? I assume it is some type of average length of each individual episode. If so, why does it not appear in the image I shared?
