Luke, I tried that before I came to the forums, and it didn't work (as we now expect it not to work where fanart doesn't have any thumbs). I got all the thumbs fixed, though. A few fanart had new thumbs that weren't available when I added the show originally, the rest I made my own, except one. That one fanart had an image for, newly approved yesterday, but wouldn't download in Emby (neither Web nor ET), perhaps because it was too new to too few downloads? Maybe new fanart only shows to logged in fanart.tv users? Dunno. I downloaded it manually and then set it as the thumb. I'm good on the images now. Still have the weirdness with the tv show library data provider options being un-checkable in ET for Linux, and also the oddity of being at 3.0.19 instead of 3.0.20 as windows is. Might force uninstall ET for Linux, the reinstall it, if you think that may help any.

Hi Luke I have channel logos for all the above channels but on the home screen and on now various not all change in line with what is bring shown on that channel and I would really like to keep it as a permanent logo

HI, what do you mean by "keep" ? Emby doesn't get rid of channel logos once it has them.

HI, what you could try to do is refresh the metadata on your existing series and see if that helps pull in images.

I thought that possibly the LG TV playback problem may be related to the network connection via WiFi. Speedtest showed around 90 Mb/s up and down via WiFi but I decided to try with a wired Ethernet connection instead. Speedtest with Ethernet was about the same, 95 Mb/s each way but unfortunately Emby will still not reliably skip forward or back during active recording. It usually just jumps back to the start of the recording. I am using the 1.0.42 Emby client.

What did you add to the collections?

HI, we have never extracted this information from the file name. The artist either needs to be tagged in embedded metadata within the file, or you need to manually specify in the metadata editor.

Hi the error in the log seems to suggest invalid xml. I would make sure you've specified the direct link to the xml file and not a dropbox web page.
