That's complete horseshit and we all know it. @ebrYou're entirely unwilling to explore providing this information in any way. You have been for at least a decade. You repeatedly quote that its for 'security' but refuse to explore any methods of providing that information securely. There are several ways you could do this. For example: provide a form on your site; enter premier key, receive email to the addresses used for purchase with even the most basic of information 'x of y slots in use' Or As discussed many times already: have the public api call that's already asking for permission to use premier features return an integer instead of just true/false. =the number of slots in use. There's no need to expose any harmful or personal/identifying information. We don't need individual device IDs, IP addresses, hosts, etc. Just a single integer: how many slots of your key are currently in use.

Hi there. Are you trying to connect to your own Emby server, or someone else’s?

crossing fingers it fixes the alphapicker for the MOVIES TAB using titles UPDATE: Roku just pushed out a firmware update version 13.0.0 build 24042

Hi Luke. The screen showing both was just to main movies library page. I found the cause and a little workaround for this issue although I don't think it's a permanent fix. My library location is set to D:/Emby/movies/movie_name. When movies are added, they are first temporarily saved to the root of D:/ and then copied over to the correct Emby folder. So while I didn't at first mind having the file duplicates on my drive.. it was confusing that Emby picked it up when it should only be indexing the Emby library folder and not the entire drive. The fix was to manually go through and delete the temp files in the root of D:/ and refresh the index. Thanks!

Possible in the future is not particularly hopeful, given the length of time that sometimes suggests around here. I'd much prefer "fixed in the next version," personally.
-
Hi, why close the browser window?
-
HI, nothing to worry about. We'll suppress the messages.

"Continue Watching" entries duplicated, but only from one library

Hi, please see here for my thoughts and suggested action on this: -
Simply create a feature request topic: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/forum/98-feature-requests/

Have you done what's required for external access to your server? https://emby.media/support/articles/Remote-Setup.html Paul
-
HI, you can PM it to me. Thanks.
-
HI, yes, more options to control this are possible for future updates. Thanks.
-
Hi, have you setup https for your emby server? if yes, then the Samsung TV could be rejecting your certificate. It is very picky about what certificates it will accept.
-
Can it be that Emby stops recording when the connection to the stream is briefly interrupted, contrary to the information in the EPG?
-
I'd like to add that I just tested. If I retrieve files from the Fiio R7 Emby server and send them to the FGiio R7 As a renderer, it sends the files in .flac with correct sample and res... So the rpoblem seems to be the Emby client.

gihayes started following Top Picks support thread

I just installed and registered Top Picks with paypal. My Paypal email address is different from my Emby account email address. Do I need to provide you with the email address registered with my Emby account? Thanks

"The main reason we do not provide a way to do this at this time is security and privacy." Meaningless. You can see if a device is playing live TV, if it is doing HW transcode, if it is downloading files, etc. premiere functions at that very moment. What sense does it make to excuse that it is for privacy/security when a count could be made if you are aware of the use of each one 24 hours a day? Find a better excuse
-
HI, yes there is currently no option, but since we have it elsewhere, it's always possible for future updates. Thanks.
-
Speechles was misinformed on his timing of the issue. The issue in that thread has only been seen recently and it is some sort of rendering anomaly in the Roku. We think we've found a work around for the next release.
-
Hi. That is very likely the problem. We already attempt to re-start on failures but with IPTV this may or may not always be possible.
-
You don't have to because we explain why. Is there a limit to Emby Premiere?
-
I answered previously with two possible explanations.
-
The app is not aware of how the item is transcoding so, no, that does not factor into the limit count.
-
Hello, has anyone had time to look into the problem yet?
