Still waiting on stuff broken years later; e.g. pressing Guide on remote tries to display the guide page in a broken state even when the emby user doesn't have access to Live TV, WAN detection on automatic never worked (at least on Cable connections in UK) so you have to set manually else transcoding always kicks in, two Emby startup logos instead of just one, logos not being resized to sensible size if would appear too small on screen and the removal without warning to OLED TVs like OLED55C6V for Media Center Theme (it's just a coloured background colour and hardly a theme and TV has plenty of processing power).

Small update... I found I didn't have to update the tag for this behaviour to happen, just go into a film, click +Add on genres then cancel. Go into another film, click +add on genres again and cancel and I must close the second dialogue. Repeat for an increasing number of dialogue windows. Navigating away from Metadata Manager and back again resets the 'count'.

Agreed. Id actually like to see a screen view option, that allows me to show just Artists or Album Artists - as current display shows a few artists before you have to scroll along. This is tiresome when you have a lot of artists under a selected genre. I want to then see ALBUMS/BOOKS as the screen after selecting an Artist from a Genre, instead of SONGS thrown as the first upper part of the screen display. If I am in a MUSIC VIDEOS library, and I select a GENRE then ARTIST, I want to see MUSIC VIDEOS from that artist for the selected genre at the top part of the display NOT songs or music tracks!!!!!!!!!!

I'm using server version 8.7.0 and I'm adding an extra genre tag to some films using the Metadata Manager and I'm finding that I'm getting an ever-increasing number of 'Add' dialogue boxes that I need to cancel. Steps: I find a film I wish to edit. I locate Genres and click +Add Enter the new genre, click Add, then press Save Repeat On the second film update I find after entering the new genre and clicking Add I'm presented with another Add dialogue to which I click the cross to cancel. After 5 films updates, I'm presented with 4 additional Add dialogues that I need to cancel... After 10 films I see 9... There's nothing recorded in the logs referencing this action so haven't uploaded one but can be provided if needed. Is anyone else able to reproduce this issue?

Enable debug log mode on Emby server and upload the file for review.

What I use to do of course, is place the file in a backup set and just restore the plugins from that set, but since backups was changed, that no longer seems possible!

Hello, I noticed on Android smartphone and sometimes LG webOS app situation like that: I start movie, nothing's happened. I wait and it show 0:0 playback. I turn back to main screen. I turn off emby and start again. Then there's no progress. I can only start from begging. Regards.

Simply "install from zip". I have no problems with it, and apparently others don't either.

Thanks for the quick reply, I also have another problem... My server gets stuck at 90% scanning my folders. I'm sure it's just one movie folder which has a mixture of mkv, iso and bdmv file structures. Never had this problem. I tried deleting and re-adding the folder but it keeps stuck and have to add movie one by one manually. Any suggestions?

Sorry for the late reply friends. I finally got http/2 to work well now. It was truly my haproxy setting on my pfsense like Q-Droid mentioned. As of that hint, i tried many settings without success. But the solution was dead simple, shame on me! I just implemented a brand new self signed cert into the emby network settings to rule out any other issues, implemented the same cert into the pfsense so haproxy can use it and then set the "alpn h2,http/1.1" attribute to my emby backend within haproxy, cleared all caches, restartet all services and now everything works as expected. Setting the "alpn h2,http/1.1" attribute to the frontend is not necessary as "h2" between client and haproxy is enabled by default. I thank you all for your help and especially Q-Droid, who ultimately gave the crucial hint. Greetz Schleudi

It's a movie library. The "Videos" entries are extras in other movies (for example, A.K. is included on the StudioCanal release of Ran), and are simply a .strm pointing at the movie's MKV, with the movie's NFO file copied over to retain all the metadata.

Yes, I have put movies or channels that work properly on Android devices, but they do not work on iPhone devices. Or via smart screens that only support a browser.
