  3. Strange bug facing here... few shows (4-5 out of more than 150) are not being identified, here's the log: [code] 2024-05-08 16:05:57.656 Error App: Error resolving path /Volume2/Multimedia/Serie 4. Good morning Luc No, I have never downloaded an apk on the shield. I have windows 10. I'll look in the settings to find this "smb". I don't know what it is. I'm going to try the tutorial you gave me Thanks a lot

problems with "No such file or directory"

how to u exclude nfs using local storage? NFS is a Network FileSystem
  6. Q-Droid

problems with "No such file or directory"

The mnt2 path was intended to exclude nfs using local storage. You've shown directory permissions but not file permissions or ownership.

problems with "No such file or directory"

Created /mnt2 and mount NFS still the same
  8. @phi303is the problem still there ? Have you enabled debug options? You can go through this and after it hangs re-install the go through the steps to send logs and giving the time and timezone and user account name and also getting the server logs in case there are some server aspects

    Invalid Username/Password

In doing so - you have also just confirmed that account exists .. without any Authentication ? You should not be mixing Authentication and Authorisation. If anybody Authenticates - be it via a valid known login or brute force - does not change the fact that Authentication has happended and the next 'stage' of security is to check the Authorisation. HTTP 403 is well defined to mean Authentication has been accepted but permission to proceed further is denied. A locked account has to be Authenticated for you to know it is locked In any known system that I have ever used, if my account is locked - I don't get to know that before I have sucessfully Authenticated ...

    Tone Mapping?

So for the Synology DS1520+... which is better software/hardware tone mapping?

Roku Channel logs out if Emby server is unreachable

Just curious if, instead of doing that, you just backed out, does it behave any differently?
  12. ebr

    Tone Mapping?

When you have HDR content that needs to be converted for any reason. The only reason to disable those is if you are having a problem with them (like the machine doesn't have enough grunt to do it).
  13. ebr

    Invalid Username/Password

Suppose the hacker was trying different passwords, getting a 401 repeatedly until the lockout hit. Then they guess right and get the 403. That was what I was referring to when saying it could actually be an authentication issue. And now we've just told them they got it right... Therefore, i would think we should return the 403 on the locked account without even trying to authenticate.
  14. We have 18 libraries, and each one has a path to the outer folder of whichever movies are for that class. So it would be the first "A Place at the Table" folder that the path is to.
  15. To prefix this, the primary reason this is annoying to me is because I have stronger passwords on my Emby server and pulling up the Roku mobile app to copy/paste the password into the channel is a PITA (though, nowhere near as bad as trying to type the password using the remote letter by letter). Problem: If the Emby server is down when I open the Emby Roku channel, I get completely logged out of Emby on the Roku. It keeps the server information, but username and password are gone. (note: I understand there's a second problem of "why is my Emby server going down", but I have suspicions it's because I now have tdarr on the same box for h265 encoding, and it's working its way through my library. So, I get if my server wasn't going down, this problem wouldn't happen). Steps to reproduce: Create an account on Emby with a password (probably can be the same password that Druidia uses for their air shield instead of something super random) Log into that account with your Roku Exit the Emby Roku channel / re-enter (or reboot Roku / re-enter) to verify you don't have to enter credentials Exit the Roku channel Shut down the Emby server Open the Emby Roku channel. Server selection screen appears, as it's unable to contact the last server. Think to yourself "oh, the server is down. I need to start it up" Hit the home button on the Roku, hoping the Roku app is fine Restart the Emby server. Open the Emby Roku channel. Server seelction screen continues to appear, forcing you to log in. I feel it's needless to say that if Emby goes down and comes back up before opening the Roku Channel, all is fine. This is standard server restarting after upgrades / maintenance / etc. I DO have the option "Remember Me" enabled in the Emby Roku Channel. I imagine that's what keeps me from having to type my credentals every time I launch it :D. I know there's workarounds with local PINs and the like to make it easier to log in, but, like most folks, I have a setup I like and feel comfortable with. And, with how infrequent it [should] happen, I don't think this is high on the bug list. But, if I try to launch Netflix while my internet is down, I don't have to re-log in, so I hopefully shouldn't have to if I launch Emby while my Emby server is down. On a priority scale from "OMG, the world is going to end!" to "oh, I think I stepped on a weird stick", this is "I stubbed my toe". I've experienced this only a handful of times in the 8+ years I've had Emby Premiere. Thanks for your assistance!

New Windows App? Beta and Release?

I am not, I will give that a try, thanks!
  19. While searching for a solution to this problem, I found a solution on the Jellyfin reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/jellyfin/comments/xyuhdt/comment/ish6ewz/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 With Emby you would do it like this; Go to C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system Edit EmbyServer.runtimeconfig.json Under configProperties, go to the end of the last existing line and type a comma "," press enter and paste "System.Net.DisableIPv6": true Should look something like this: { "runtimeOptions": { "tfm": "net6.0", "includedFrameworks": [ { "name": "Microsoft.NETCore.App", "version": "6.0.29" }, { "name": "Microsoft.AspNetCore.App", "version": "6.0.29" } ], "configProperties": { "System.Reflection.Metadata.MetadataUpdater.IsSupported": false, "System.Net.DisableIPv6": true } } } This works for me with Mullvad VPN split tunneling. Only problem I noticed is that this file resets after every update, I haven't had time to test but maybe this can be remedied by making the file read only? Hopefully the devs find this post and implements some sort of fix so this wont be necessary.
  20. Hi. It has to be something in the configuration of the Docker or network that is interfering with validation. Can we see a server log from when it fails?

Downgrade from Beta to Stable - lost library

The first one. Once the 4.9.x branch reaches a certain point which devs want to finish it up it then becomes the latest stable. At that point 4.8.x will be old and may no longer be updated. The next round of beta then will presumably be 4.10. That's where you get off the beta and just stay with 4.9. Unless you decide beforehand to follow what sa2000 posted that is.
  23. Q-Droid

problems with "No such file or directory"

Also, as suggested before you could copy one or two of those files to local storage replicating the full path. You could use mnt2 instead of mnt. Just make sure everything else about them is the same, including owner, group and permissions.
  24. Q-Droid

problems with "No such file or directory"

I doubt it's permissions too but just so we can eliminate that can you check them on the actual files, not just the directories.
  25. chrisrobbins1970

    What does this mean?

    thank you to all

ARM version crashing every few days

Sure, I can understand why you would be hesitant then. Is it related to Apple's 10Gbe NIC somehow? If not, is there another work around you would suggest? I am a Java dev, but could look into applying the change for my own builds if it was easy to apply. Thanks much!!
