Yep, maybe similar. Mine happens regularly (not all the time) if I watch a program that was recording when I start watching, but has finished recording by the time I end watching. Haven't noticed 'eventually closed and relaunched. I have to kill mine.

Hello, I recently shifted to emby from Plex. Emby server is installed on raspberrypi 4b 8gb running on Debian. Realtime monitoring was working just fine few days back but now it's only working for movies but not for TV Shows. Realtime monitoring is enabled for both libraries i.e. Movies and Shows. Storage is directly connected to raspberrypi. Kindly guide how to fix this. Thanks

My problem is that the server crashes at a certain point when there is a high demand for IPTV in a certain period, I user like a certain football team here in my country and when that team goes to games I send these games to them via IPTV using emby in m3u, at a certain period of the game emby has high ram consumption and then it hangs there to solve it I have to restart the server to get back to normal @Luke embyserver.txt

Agree. It's an insulting answer. Adding a new feature that no one asked for is 1 thing, but f'ing up an existing feature and ignoring the improvements that users asked for is absolutely insulting. @Lukeis demonstrating how little he cares about users.

OK, looks like TV issue got resolved by updating App (looks like I used ancient version, installed manually, from 2022 when I started to use Emby). I don't even remember why I installed it manually, discovered it by accident as I stumbled upon an APK file on NAS, in "TV device account" home folder. Installed newer one from Play store and all is fine, but IOS and iPadOS clients still do it for all downloaded media. Album art is only shown in "Song view" not in "Album view".

Have looked at this and tried again to get things going, the docker container runs but no files are generated, I have no idea where I am going wrong with this, fairly new to docker but would like to think I know my way around after setting up all the arrs.

Ok, I scheduled a recording a "Masterchef" starting at 7:30 pm and ending at 9 pm. I started watching the program while it was recording at 8:15 pm, skipped a few ads, and got to the end of the program at about 9:30 pm. I exited the playback, and see the screen which offers play, resume, etc - but the app is frozen. Hello TMCsw and thank you for your reaction. I have already broken 1 disk by switching too quickly between the Shield and the PC. I was told why on another forum and now I'm very cautious. I use the Shield to view the HDD on the TV. My PC is also connected to the TV by a HDMI cable (I cloned the PC screen and the TV screen). If I want, I can watch my external HDD on the TV via the PC (and therefore Emby from the PC) No problem. BUT In this case, my PC must be turned on (of course) and consumes much more electricity (here in France it is expensive) than the Shield. This is why I would rather use the shield. PS: The shield is always turned off when I'm not using it. For your explanations, that's very kind, but as I've already written, I'm not a professional. I don't understand much of all your explanations. I am rephrasing my problem differently. LET’S FORGET THE PC. I have a Shield. It has an external HDD with lots of movies on it. Is it possible to put Emby on said Shield to read the HDD with a personalized presentation (posters, sorting order, etc.)? If it is possible, how should I proceed? I downloaded Emby Android TV from the store. Who can tell me SIMPLY what I should do now?

Thank you for your replies. My hardware is the zappiti one 4k hdr. I don't have a NAS, so looking at an alternative to the zappiti video app for a gallery and metadata experience. The licence route with emby is okay, if indeed it would function on my player? I've installed the emby server on my player but it opens up in the Chrome browser on my zappiti and isn't ideal. I've read about jellyfin and kodi but as a newbie, I'm not sure if they would work on my zappiti? Thanks again

Hi Luke, The standard Android version does not display the message. in iPhones, Windows and Samsung phones the message does not appear. Seems to be the one for Android TV only. I only have nvidia shields. I cant say if it is Nvidia shield specific or generic. This is cosmetic - the app works perfectly fine. Thanks. Regards, Paulo
