Oh wow, that fixed it immediately, thanks. I remember trouble shooting something a while ago and disabling it for that. Still seems weird that this is only affecting 4k mkv files though.

What Emby app are you trying to connect from? Are you sure your server is running?

Hi, looks like you may have disabled the server transcoding option to allow subtitle extractions on the fly. Please try turning that back on and see how things compare. Thanks.

update: problem has surfaced again. I have not made any changes whatsoever - it just gives me the "Unable to Reach Server" error.

I have live channels that are only one show 24/7 i'd like to add with my On-Demand content, but when I add the M3u file and xmltv files it only displays in my live-tv section on Emby. I want them to be in the "TV Shows On-Demand) section with my other shows, is there a way to do this? I am running Emby on Windows, not docker or anything fancy like that. Thanks.

Custom seasons are possible, yes, so you should have been fine from the get go. The problem that you might run into this is internet metadata. You'll just need to make sure that things are either locked or turned off to ensure that it doesn't mess with it.

You don't enter it into Emby. The Emby plugin for nextpvr gets the status automatically from NextPvr. Did you do this?

NextPVR has emailed with me a few times and they say Emby is the one imposing the channel limitation, that NextPVR is not doing it.I have a transaction ID from NextPVR to verify my donation, but can find no place to enter it in Emby.

I changed the font size of the apple tv settings but it didn't change in the emby app

If the transcode temporary path location is blank, does it default to the boot drive? DISREGARD, I found the transcode location was the boot drive. Frames are showing 150+ if I am reading it right.
