Passthru of DTS is NOT supported on LG 2025 models. Confirmed. You need to connect to soundbar directly or receiver to get DTS.

How do I organize files for Plex? has a video tutorial to get you started. Since you're using Emby, you'll want to use {emby.id} as custom format instead of the {plex.id} format as shown in the video tutorial. Adding 720p / 1080p / etc is a matter of adding {vf} to your custom format. e.g. { emby.id % { ' - ' + vf } } That'll generate file paths like this: Movies/Avatar (2009) [tmdbid=19995]/Avatar (2009) - 1080p.mp4

The reason seems to be that you are transcoding. HDR is not supported when transcoding and will require tone mapping.

No I only had emby installed via Docker Removed all docker images and then removed docker/container manager when installing Emby for the Syno community ii keep getting port 8096 as blocked This is an issue Any idea where the port registration file is ?

Sure thing! Replaced the "old" one with this, get back to you shortly! Thanx!

I also want to vote for AV1 transcoding support. My CPU is an AMD 7840HS, and now more and more CPU integrated GPUs and discrete GPUs are starting to support AV1 encoding. AV1 encoding can significantly reduce playback data usage in mobile network environments. As we all know, mobile data is very expensive, so I hope AV1 transcoding support will be available soon. Thank you. Of course, HEVC transcoding support is already available now, which is much appreciated. Please adapt it to Android as soon as possible.

Oh that's good to know, so I don't need to even try and figure it out, it wouldn't even function that way anyway. Thanks Luke! -
FireStick 4K - Buffering / Lagging issue with 4K content (and 1080p content too)
ross87 replied to ross87's topic in Android TV / Fire TV
@Luke@ebr I've found this issue can very temporarily be fixed by clearing the app cache, however the audio slowly goes out of sync with the video. This is using the app version available from the Amazon app store. -
New version broke "Remember Last User" for local users
One2Go replied to ptvir's topic in Android TV / Fire TV
I have a similar issue except it is on a Surface Pro 11th addition. When starting the app it always uses my older server and I have to use the change server to connect to the new server. After I close out the session and exit and start again, the old server is again the one that appears with the user logins and again I have to use the change server. It seems like the login screen does not remember the changed server. Also I can't delete the old server. After pressing delete server and it asks "Are you sure you want to delete" and I press delete, the pop up box closes but the server has not been deleted. Any help will be appreciated and also where should I post this request. -
Adding tmdbid tags in file name where there are multiple versions of a movie
Fweep replied to daleala's topic in General/Windows
Sorry to necro this after 6 months, but it wasn't marked as solved, and I'm having the same issue. I think there's a bug. First, though, to the OP, @daleala: according to the docs, versions are supposed to have a space on each side of the dash, like the following: 16 Blocks (2006) - Alternate Ending.mp4 16 Blocks (2006) - Normal Ending.mp4 However, getting that nuance of the syntax perfect doesn't really change anything for us. The versions are still only merged as long as the folder name is "16 Blocks (2006)". If the folder name is instead "16 Blocks (2006) [tmdbid=2207]", then they do not merge, and there doesn't seem to be any way to make them merge. This is unexpected behavior which should be treated by the developers as a bug, in my opinion. (I'd include a screenshot for my actual example, but it would just be the same as your 2nd post.) Yes, @adminExitium, it is true that the docs imply that the file name has to exactly match the folder name, but I am pretty sure this was not meant to include the metadata provider tags. Normally you would never have to put the tags in the file names. For example, if the folder name is "16 Blocks (2006) [tmdbid=2207]", you are not actually expected to change the file names to "16 Blocks (2006) [tmdbid=2207].mp4", nor something like "16 Blocks (2006) [tmdbid=2207] - Alternate Ending.mp4". —At least I hope not, because not only is it ugly, but it also doesn't work to solve our problem; the mere presence of the ID in the folder name prevents the merge of the versions, even if we include the ID in the file names. Strangely, I am able to get merging with a provider-tagged folder to work for a TV show. I think it is because episode numbers help determine the match. For example, I have this folder structure, and the two versions of the pilot episode get merged as expected: \Seinfeld (1989) {tvdb=79169}\Season 1\S01E01 \Seinfeld (1989) {tvdb=79169}\Season 1\S01E01\behind the scenes \Seinfeld (1989) {tvdb=79169}\Season 1\S01E01\behind the scenes\The Seinfeld Chronicles - Inside Look.mkv \Seinfeld (1989) {tvdb=79169}\Season 1\S01E01\Seinfeld S01E01 Pilot - Good News Bad News (Syndication Pilot).mkv \Seinfeld (1989) {tvdb=79169}\Season 1\S01E01\Seinfeld S01E01 Pilot - The Seinfeld Chronicles (Original Pilot).mkv -
Hobbies, pastimes and interests. Oh my.
benten52 replied to Gilgamesh_48's topic in Non-Emby General Discussion
it’s refreshing to see people offer such thoughtful suggestions based on actual limitations, not just random hobby ideas. It’s easy to say “try photography or cooking,” but when someone shares why that won’t work for them, and others really listen, it makes the conversation feel way more genuine. Hobbies should feel manageable and enjoyable, not forced. Also, if anyone’s into cars or just likes staying updated with auto news, this page has some pretty solid info: gari.pk/news -
Thanks Luke, sorry for the late response. My ISP is (was) using a CGNat, but I was able to subscribe to a Public IP for $5-ish a month. After that I was still having trouble setting up the Port Forwarding, but after some trial and errors here's how I did it in case it helps someone in the future. Remember, I'm using my ISP's router (NOT in bridge mode), and a TP Link Deco Mesh setup. I had to turn off uPNP, and open the 8096 port to my Deco's IP, not my server (Macbook).

Birkin started following Colors washed out in HDR
-
This issue just recently started happening out of nowhere. I have an HDR monitor, and when playing content in Emby in the web browser, the colors will appear very grey/washed out. It happens when the playback controls go away. So if I hover the mouse over the video, the colors look totally normal, but once I rest the mouse for a second it reverts back to being washed out. I've attached a couple screenshots showcasing the issue. This doesn't happen on any other platforms I watch my content on, including iOS & the desktop app for Windows. This issue only occurs in the Web Player. Any help or input is appreciated. Turning off HDR in Windows fixes the issue, turning off Auto HDR has no effect.
