Sounds like you were given access to someone elses Emby server; and accidentally removed that connection info from your client app (Emby Theater). You'll have to contact the owner/operator for the server you were accessing. Emby (The company) doesn't provide media; they provide software to share and access your own (or a friends) media.

Hmmm, so I guess you can't do anything with this app without subscribing? I installed JPlay, but it immediately wants me to subscribe. Can't get past that. Have you tried other Dlna apps? We don't have a widespread issue relating to covers. There must be something specific to whatever JPlay is doing.

For anyone technical enough to know, the response code is the clue as 401 is "Unauthorized" and 403 is "Forbidden". I suppose we could translate those into different messages but a Forbidden response can come from multiple causes (lockout in which case, it IS an authentication issue, device access restriction, device limits, etc).

Sure, I can go by posts or by my own experience. Emby is very good and while LiveTV has problems it...works...for...me. At least as much as I need it to. My interpretation of what @ebr posted is that premier features and costs might become somewhat flexible so if you don't want to pay for LiveTV that doesn't work for you that can come off the bill. I could be wrong. Maybe you didn't read my post all the way through or my writing sucks. Whether any of those products actually facilitate piracy is beside the point. Emby wouldn't want to become a target and get removed from app stores so they have to do things a certain way. If Plex weren't already in bed with the media corps they could very well be in their crosshairs. If at some point the 45 and 75 dev licenses become a problem for Emby I'm pretty sure they'd get rid of those too. Lawyers and legal actions cost money so why take the chances.

On my computer it has add.server my laptop server and my name server under my name it said on demand. I deleted that..That was where I.could watch all the movies

hi @Dydhzohave you tried lowering the quality setting? It could be that the bitrate is just too high for the remote connection.
