Hi All,

We are making progress towards a 0.8.0 release of XBMB3C.

Added a new developer - im85288 who has been helping a lot with skin intergration.

Check out our progress:

This is great! I have a question. Will the live video backdrop functionality media browser be available through this addon?

are you considering a custom installer with some popular preconfigured skins? if so, it would really cut out a lot of headaches for those who will purely use MB3 as their backend.  looks amazing btw!

Possibly a skin packaged with the addon someday - but there are way too many XBMC platforms to package up just to save someone downloading two addons.

i suppose you're right - if the skin is built for MB3, it could be used to integrate with the MB3 addon without the traditional hassle of disabling the native library menus and enabling those of MB3.

Ah - well you are in luck then! That is exactly what we are working on.  Version 0.8.0 will be designed to work with im85288's xperience1080++ skin and will automatically set up menus for MB3 in a new special 'XBMB3C' mode.  In addition null_pointer is developing skins mods to Confluence to accomplish much of the same.

We are feature freezing today, with an official Alpha tomorrow, Beta Saturday and submission to repo Sunday.  That assumes we get some good test feedback!
