We are happy to announce that a new version of the Windows 8 app has hit the store.

 

It includes some really nice features, such as the option to select subtitles and audiotracks, improved transcoding settings, media folder support etc.

  • Subtitles, just bring up the appbar during playback to change subtitles
  • Audiotracks, just bring up the appbar during playback to change audiotrack
  • Streamingquality. (Bring out the Charms menu -> Settings -> Streaming)
  • Applogs. (Bring out the Charms menu -> Settings -> Logging)
  • Support for Media Folders
  • Bugfixes and minor UI Changes

Thanks.  I was expecting to have to update the app in the store, but looks like it did so itself.  Using right now to play music.  Will do some more testing after.  Great app.

Love the layout of the Windows 8 Metro app. It's just a real shame I hate Windows 8 so much!

Love it!  Wish there were a way to play local media on the Surface RT.  I can't believe there's no WMP even, also no VLC.  Feels so low-rent.  MB for Win8 would be an awesome and slick front end if that could be done.  Even if not, LOVE IT!  Great work MB3 Team!

how to sucssed with subtitle ?

 

got app but can't see the subtitle at all when i choose nothing happend
