Now get Emby on your Nexus Player or other Android TV (5.0+ with LeanBack interface) device.

See what you want - right now

The new Emby Android TV app puts your content right where you want it - up front and easy to find.

Designed with with typical usage in mind, you won't have to go hunting through your library to find the content you are most likely wanting to watch right now. The home screen shows you the items you were watching but hadn't finished, your latest un-watched movies, the next episode of all your current TV shows and what's on Live TV right now (Live TV service required).

In fact, you don't even have to enter the app to get to your most wanted content. The new Emby for ATV app uses the Recommendation capabilities of the device to put your most likely items right on the player home screen.

I can confirm that this works great over WiFi on my ADT-1 Android TV box. I only played one TV episode, but it was much better than Plex. The UI is more intuitive than Plex, and when I use Plex the video freezes at least once, usually twice through the duration of the episode, and I have to back out and resume the video. Emby didn't freeze, which was refreshing.

Would it be possible to make the main color of the app user selectable? No offense, but forest green is just about my least favorite color.

Why not suggest this in the public forum? It helps us see who agrees and disagrees. We're listening to you guys.

Great Job! Just loaded this on my Tronsmart AW80 device and works great so far in testing. In fact it is one of the few programs that work correctly with the 5.0 beta firmware on the box. Worked so well I put a plug for it in the Tronsmart forum so other would know there are options available.

Can the info on the top of items (Blu Ray, DVD, Mpeg, h264)  be removed so only the clean posters show?  (I dont have the app...asking in advance).

Hi,

Is it possible that the app will enable the "mic" button in the near furture on the Nexus Player, at the moment it launches the main menu search function, it would be nice if it launched the in app search.

Thanks,

Wob

Not sure how the workflow should go but when I log in with my username it never asks me for a password.
