Erik 120
Sorry for the duplicate thread, but I don't have permissions to view it for whatever reason.... When I start the beta app, just before showing the users selection page it crashes back to the roku home screen. Thanks.

ebr 14912
And the non-beta version works fine against the same server/user?
Erik 120
Yes. Same server, same everything, the emby stable roku app launches and functions ok, but the beta app never gets to the server/user selection screen. You get the circle for a second and welcome screen and then back to roku home screen.
Happy2Play 8281
I would have to test more but when I signed out of the beta app .105 yesterday I had the same thing happen. Launch app and just get bounced back to Roku Home. I ended up removing and re-adding the app. @@ebr Tested again today, after signing out was unable to launch app again. Removed app Restarted Roku Added app Now I am able sign in again. Edited September 16, 2018 by Happy2Play
Erik 120
I tried deleting the app and reinstalled the beta and restarting the roku still get the crashing to home. I'll try a roku restart between deleting and reinstalling the app now.

Erik 120
Where is the testing area? It's not listed under the testing section of the forum and I've always reported bugs and such in this section for the roku beta app.

ebr 14912
Okay, so the issue is only after explicitly signing out. I will fix that but, can I ask, why you were doing that? That is a very cumbersome way to exit the app and isn't really necessary so just wondering. Thanks.
Erik 120
If that was directed to me...I never singed out. Just tried to open the app the other day and it crashed as described. Family just uses the home button on the remote to exit to roku home screen.

vaise 304
Same here. Just an FYI - if this helps : I have a user that is OUTSIDE my lan and they say they are on 105 and that roku is WORKING...... dunno how that is the case as it is repeatable over and over inside my LAN

vaise 304
Its been many years since I installed the roku beta app, I did not wish to uninstall it in case I could not re-install it. I also have 7 roku's to manage so I dont want to do that to all of them if there is a beta fix forthcoming soon.

vaise 304
This 106 and latest server beta seem to be great now. No more crash when doing a search. By letter also spot on. Roku all seems to be working as normal with no issues. Thanks.
