arrbee99 1575
Just wondering if you guys have any plans to support Vivaldi in the (not too distant) future. It shows libraries and settings and stuff fine but doesn't actually play an awful lot. Thanks.
Luke 37481
Thanks, I see the issue. Since it's chromium based it's trying to use chrome's mkv support.

Luke 37481
Since they are claiming to be a browser for power users, you might want to consider going over to their community and asking them to support the mkv container like Chrome does. Maybe while you're at it mention flac audio as well.
arrbee99 1575
Have asked, but no reply yet. Can't really tell from Vivaldi posts whether problems with playback are due to Vivaldi in general, particular builds or individual computers and the need for hardware acceleration. Apparently Chrome uses its own codecs but Vivaldi uses Windows (but you'd know a lot more about that than I would). Also seen comments that FLAC used to work but now doesn't (and hopefully will again). Anyhoo, saw you did some clever server stuff on the Dev branch and it now plays 1080p stuff and pretty much everything else just fine - thanks very much for such speedy work.
