hi there, i just recently set up my Live tv again on emby server. I'm having problems playing back some recordings I have made through live tv on the LG OLED, but in windows emby they playback perfectly. most recordings do this on the tv, some are okay, The tv playback shows the picture for 1 second then goes blank. i have attached a video showing this on both devices and the log of the lgtv playback, thanks lgtv.MOV

The Home section can be filtered by more than a single tag - so just create more descriptive tag names in the Plugin and add them ALL to the home section filter. Then you'll know exactly which filters are being used for what items ...

I have tried to download several movies to my Android tablet and after conversion, all but 1 remain stuck in a Ready to Transfer status. I have tried to remove all downloads, restart the emby server, then redownload but the same issue arises. On my tablet, download settings are configured to save on System Storage (SD Card) which is a 128 GB card with about 50% free space). I have tried toggling the Download only on Wifi config to no effect and have tried clearing app cache and reopenning. My server is running Version 4.9.3.0 on a Debian host within a Proxmox environment. I attempted these downloads a few times yesterday (March 16th) around 11am EST and 11pm EST time, attached logs to cover the full time period hopefully. embyserver.txt embyserver-63909303079.txt embyserver-63909303395.txt -

It would be good to have a visual indication of whether or not a rule is being applied, and what tag it's applying. At the moment I have to dig into each scheduled rule individually to check its date range, and dig into each rule to see which tag it applies. I have a ton of media that's tagged “spotlight” right now and shouldn't be, and it's a challenge to try and figure out where it's gone wrong.

When I look at emby web in TV Shows, then hit genres tab, this is what I am getting: Below, same thing in Movies. Half of genres do not have that emby montage image. Also, notice the movies posters appearing as well in tv shows, and vice versa. ???

Good question; how do I confirm that? Trying to enter the URL in chrome on either my phone or desktop just searches google for the http. -

Hi Luke, you are right, but as you know Director is the most important thing about a movie, and if you have f.ex. 50 actors, you have to scroll and scroll and scroll to find the most important thing. That's why it is displayed in the web app in the first place. As you know most of us are watching movies on our televisions. But OK, if this isn't displayed in any TV layouts, it's about time again, because it has been there once upon a time. Could you please move this to Feature Requests. -

Maybe the Emby App you're running think your TV doesn't support AC3. Which version of the Emby App are you using? Is it the LG native app? -

I tried playing the TrueHD track but it got transcoded. I then turned off all transcoding on the server and it could direct play the TrueHD track no problem. -

Hi, I don't know how long the director has been missing from the movie details screen, but I'm sure, that the director has been there in the past. I don't believe that's a deliberate choice. Of course you can get the director, if you scroll right in Cast & Crew, but.... Attached is a screenshot from LG TV app and from the same page from Edge browser in Windows 11, where you can see the Director just below Overview field.

Can you access the server from a browser on your phone on the same wifi network? Have you checked your firewall?
