For me it sadly does and others have reported the same. -

On my Android TV, multi source/version in webstreams of an show or movie is selectable (has a box shows with both versions) but it won't play eitherof them. If I redo with either souce alone it will play just fine. Is this a known issue? or am I doing something wrong like a setting? Sorry don'yt have logs (been a while) but can recreate it if necessary. I looked at the log file and seemed to say that the file not found.

GAME CHANGER!! Global Station Search
Jcalvin replied to JIsenhour247's topic in Emby Provided Guide Data
Just found this thread but it sounds like this is what this does based off searching. Maybe jesmannstl can chime in? global-channel-search (Docker image by jesmann) — can update Dispatcharr channel names to the clean names you'd see on traditional provider guides (e.g. "US: Comedy Central East HD" → "Comedy Central"), and update TVG-IDs to standard call signs to assist EPG matching. Not provider-number-specific, but it cleans up the metadata that matching relies on. -

Thanks for the clarification. I haven't seen intro markers removed after Emby doing metadata rescans. I've only seen the end credit markers removed (whether due to metadata rescan of for another reason). - Today

Free Tool to organize and convert media files
henrymixhle121 replied to HairyBizRat's topic in Tools and Utilities
It’s great to see a thread focused on organizing and converting media files having a reliable tool can save a ton of time. In a similar vein for 3D printing enthusiasts, Orca Slicer is an open-source software that efficiently converts digital 3D models into machine-ready G-code. Its interface makes setting up prints, adjusting layer heights, and managing multiple printer profiles really straightforward, even for beginners here https://orcaslicer.pro. Beyond basic slicing, it also includes AI-assisted error detection and wireless printing features, which streamline the workflow and reduce failed prints. -
I’ve been exploring different subtitle styles for styling long dresses, and I noticed that choosing fabrics and cuts that complement the overall design really makes a difference. Brands that pay attention to both quality and stitching, like Apricocia, make it easy to pair elegant silhouettes with subtle subtitle detailing. Their dresses are soft, breathable, and comfortable, so styling options are versatile whether https://apricocia.com you want something casual or more formal. I found their winter collection especially thoughtful, and they even have handy features like pockets for practicality.

Seems obviously Kodi issue to me. -
If you run Emby in a Docker container you can specify the host bind IP in the run/compose but only in bridge network mode, not host network.

It's not Emby rescanning for intro that removes the markers. Emby doing metadata scans removes all markers, including the intro once. -

While setting a bind IP isn't a bad idea I provided details in your other post for how to force clients to use the remote address. In my local network the remote address resolves to a local IP, outside it resolves to an external one.
-
That is exactly my case. More over to make Android client work properly I would need to block IPv6 traffic, see my earlier post "Forget This Server" does nothing: # ip6tables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 8096 -j REJECT Gets more and more tricky I think advertise IP address != bind IP address. Hence I suggest the "enhancement" in my initial post (feel free to extend / improve it).

Plugin: EmbyCredits, detect end credits and add auto skip.
DarWun replied to yocker's topic in Plugins
Thanks. I've been selective in my use of this plug-in, only having used it to determine end credits for a hand full of series in my collection. And it looks like the previously detected end-credit flags were wiped for every one of those shows recently. That may have coincided with Emby rescanning intro markers. But I don't recall Emby redetecting intro credits recently on any of the series where end credits tags disappeared. I am currently rescanning end credits for all of the series where they were deleted. I'll report back if I figure out why they were deleted in the first place. - Yesterday

Indeed, I have a small private community on my server, and they will help me with the funding for upgrading the hardware (HDD, RAM, etc.).

OK, so if it's not cgNAT, then it pretty much has to be the port opening/forwarding. What does your router tell you about its status? For instance, does it tell you if ports have been opened by uPNP? What happens if you try to open the required port manually? I know nothing of this router, so it's between you and its user guide, unless someone else here knows it and can give advice. Paul

Movies don't resume, they start from beginning
Nabukodonosor replied to Nabukodonosor's topic in Android TV / Fire TV
This is not true, just checked it with a movie I resumed already 2-3 times. Also, I got a recording of the issue. VID_20260308_230659.mp4 -

I edited the metadata manually, fixing all the text, the season, and the Netflix and TVDB id's. Now it shows up as S02E01. I suppose this is ok until I refresh the metadata on Luke Cage. Any idea why only this one episode is being misidentified?
-
Not knowing your setup, wild guess would be that something in your filefolder naming/structure (an any level) is throwing parser off. Since it's a single episode only, you can edit metadata manually, it shouldn't take more than a few minutes for that. Or if you're really keen on troubleshooting/automating it, post your complete structure here so maybe something can be glimpsed.
-
As you said, I saw S01E01 had an option to "split episodes" So I did that. Now I have 2 S01E01's, with S02E01 being misidentified as S01E01. I deleted the nfo and refreshed the metadata, but I still have 2 S01E01's.

Movies don't resume, they start from beginning
visproduction replied to Nabukodonosor's topic in Android TV / Fire TV
Aha, well no overlaps possible, then maybe a false assigned function name. Perhaps the cached variable is out of scope in the code, so the Resume button doesn't get a variable at all and it defaults back to play. -

Nabukodonosor replied to Nabukodonosor's topic in Android TV / Fire TV
Well, when the button is selected it changes color, so I'm sure I'm on the right button. I will try to record and catch the issue. It doesn't happen every time. And this is a maybe, just a maybe, but I've noticed one thing. If it's the first time I'm resuming a movie, it will happen, but every time after that it will not. But I can't be sure of this. -

I don't believe there is any way that could happen in the TV app. I am befuddled as to what is going on here. -

Nabu, It's possible there is a code that needs tweaking. I just wanted to point out that when you say "pressing the Resume button'", it is more accurate to say you are clicking the Resume button area. That does not aways mean that the Resume button is being clicked. If the Play button area overlaps, then you think you are clicking the Resume button, but you are actually clicking the overlapped area of the Play button. This type of bug can change with different screen sizes. The wrong button getting pressed could totally disappear on a large monitor. This type of bug can appear with either an update in the code or a change in the screen size, possibly even after a TV app update. I mention this weird case, because it would explain the log and I have often seen it crop up with online video streaming sites production. There is also an issue of assigning buttons to functions that can cause this. That would be a different bug with the similar symptoms. Do you get any indication that you actually clicked the Resume button? Does that button change at all when you click it? I would prefer to just test everything, but I don't have your setup.
