So the date you are showing in your screenshot is the date added field, what was seen on my previous screenshot was the release date, if you want the badge to appear based on the date added, you can set the config page under date added label - collection to "NEW" and it should display the badge given u set the "days since added to library" to < or equal to the date collection added to emby library....if that doesnt work may be try redownloading the artwork from your metadata provider and it should appear..... or try opening it in incognito mode. if this doesnt work there might be some other problem.

Here we go: I changed the digiral options to DD Plus and the DTS set to ON. Restarted the Roku device and these are the results. 1.. Bourne Identity (DTS-HD MA 5.1) Played flawless because of transcoding and attached is the log. 2. Zootopia 2 (DTS-HD MA 7.1) NO ffmpeg log because it was a direct play look and the screenshot was from the Emby server. Video played but no audio at all. Didn't think the Roku had the DTS-HD MA codecs. 3. I did first setting the digital output to auto and I believe that are the logs I posted. I will now set the digital output to custom and the DD is already set and will change DTS from OFF to ON. Will run the same too files Bourne Identity eith DTS-HD MA 5.1 and Zootopia 2 with DTS-HD MA 7.1 and will post those 2 ffmped logs.

Resetting a password requires the server admin. I agree though, a feature for this would be nice as for example it's not always i have access to my server when family members forget their password for the umpteenth time.

Each Kodi profile starts blank (unless you instructed Kodi otherwise). Each Kodi profile has its own Emby connection/session and you can use any Emby account as connection.

Just transcoding the video to "-c:v av1_nvenc -rc constqp -qp 23 -preset slow -pix_fmt p010le", and copying the audio/subtitle tracks, did allow the normal Android app to play the video. So it's 100% the video track that only the normal Android app struggles with, while the Android-tv app plays it fine.

If my tv didn't support the codec, why would the Emby Android tv app play it without issues, without transcoding? Selecting the Japanese stereo track (before the video starts) didn't change anything. Maybe your Sony TV does not support this video codec high 10? DNLA settings for this particular Sony TV model? 6 Channel Flac is a very high bitrate audio that could be too much for transcoding to manage in real time. The audio is forced. Can you remux the audio with some 3rd party transcoder to a more standard AAC stereo and see if that helps. I suspect the high end audio to be perhaps the cause. And still having changed nothing, I'm again unable to access my server remotely. I'm getting a CloudFlare timeout error when I attempt to access my domain, and a browser timeout error when I attempt to access my WAN IP.

Also having issues with the Android (not the tv version) playback on specific files, on a Sony tv. While the Android tv app plays those without problems. But that has other (lesser) problems, where the proposed fix seems to be to use the normal Android app. The attached image is what I see on my tv. All of these on the Roku show the same cause. The container is MKV which the Roku can direct play. But the video stream is VC1 which the Roku cannot. This causes the below condition to happen. The video is transcoded into h264 and since DTS cannot be muxed into HLS it becomes AC3 to keep the surround sound since AC3 is found to be supported. It sounds like you installed the Emby app on your FireCube. To use the app you need to connect it to someone who is running an Emby server. Emby is basically a media manager. It manages YOUR media, or allows you to connect to someone else's Emby server. If you want to install EmbyServer so you can watch your OWN movies, music, etc. then you will need to the EmbyServer application on a NAS or your PC. Emby as the app doesn't just "work". Hello. Yes, users can change their passwords. When a user logs in they can click their profile icon > app settings > profile and in the password section they can change the password themselves. I think that doing this bypasses Emby Connect so if they forget their password, you will have to reset it for them. If I am wrong, please someone let me know.

The issue is collection has a metadata separate from the movies inside it so you have to make sure the parameters in the metadata matches the configuration in the plugin. Let me show you in my screenshots. In your collection right click on -Edit metadata> select release date and put recent date and new collection tag will show up. let me know this fixes the issue
