Do you know if is on the roadmap in the near future? To me it seems like common sense to have the HTML dashboard access separate from the user app access If its not on the roadmap, how about a simple switch under the Network Settings: Disable HTML access to all non admins (Yes/No)

Actually, I thought Emby Connect would work, but it doesn't. In the past I got it working on my mobile phone (not on WI-FI, only mobile data) by entering the WAN IP address of Emby Server. Now that doesn't work anymore.

OC, Check the speaker connection. I can imagine that rear speakers might be interchanged with front speakers somewhere along the connectors. On a full surround playback, you might not notice because most dialog is sent to the center channel, music front left and right and back channels are delay echo or actual recording of mics facing backwards during shooting. If surround gets mixed down to stereo and the back speakers are getting front left and right, you would get speech weighted to the back speakers, exactly matching your description. During nomal full surround playback, the center would get the dialogue and you would maybe not even notice that most music is coming from the rear, when it should be in the front.

We offered to take it over in the past but they said they wanted to handle it.

Right shirt there is no way to do this universally. Blocking via device access will work but it requires some manual effort.

The series I am specifically using to test is Neon Genesis, the original 1995 series. I have ripped the files myself and used MKVToolnix to select the default tracks and name them. If there are logs that would be helpful I am happy to post those, but I am unsure how to get more specfic. I did try logging in as a different user, and it seems to be following the correct subtitles for the other users. Because of that, I tried setting the subtitle mode to smart, clearing preferences, then changing back to default, and clearing the preferences again. That may have resolved the issue, but I need to do some more testing.

A little sneak preview of next version. This is !!!HEAVILY!!! inspired by Chapter API (a great plugin that i use a lot and can recommend). @rbjtechYou were involved in making Chapter API correct? Is it okay i release this? If not then i will change it instantly and apologize. The layout and functionality of Chapter API is pretty much perfect and people have been asking me to include something like it in this plugin.

@Lukeso if my users are using apps (tablets, firetv, etc) there is no way to disable or lock down the HTML interface of the Emby Server? I know I can block the 8096 port but I assume that will break the apps as well? Is it possible to move the HTML dashboard to a different port and keep 8096 only for the apps that are connecting? Traditionally my family has all been inside the LAN access, but now some of them are going off to school and not living at home, I still want them to be able to access using their apps, but I don't want to expose the HTML dashboard to the Internet!
