By the way you can get log files directly from the server logs folder: How to Report a Problem That would be extremely helpful. Most likely the issue is the plugins that you are running. I saw a similar report from a user yesterday and he resolved it either by removing or reconfiguring the plugins.

YOU DO NOT START A SERVER VIA A WEB BROWSER Open the damn folder you've been given and run the exe file inside like every other program you start on a computer, and like you've been told to multiple times now. ---- Then follow the rest of the instructions and post the god damn log file. Why are you not following instructions???? We cannot help you if you're not going to read or follow the directions you're given.

@Snappawapa These are just general emby user interface features, not specific to podcasts. This kind of control has been requested before and it's possible for future updates. -

I can not start the server because I can not get to the server. The server says it can not load.

Emby tray is not emby server. (it's a sub process, but not the server itself) So the answer is NO emby server is not running. Start it, try to connect, then post the new log file.

Thank you so much for this great update. What a long way we've come since the first release! We are now very close to finally having real smart playlists in Emby. If I may say so, it seems to me that there are just a few parameters missing to be able to create truly comprehensive smart playlists: date added (& date modified), file size, and played (last played). Thanks again for this superb plugin! -

In the task manager, emby is showing as embytray.

Hmm that's odd. Can you show a screenshot? Need more info to help. What happened when it stopped working? ( Windows update? install software? VPN install? ) any detail is not too small.) Every thing, does not come out of nothing.

Is EMBY SERVER showing running in TaskManager. If not, you need to start it. It should be located at C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server If you start it, try to connect, and still can't; grab the new log file (it will have overwritten the previous embyserver.txt file you grabbed earlier) and post it here again.

You don't need a new device just for trailers. If trailers are really that important load the USB version now as Luke suggested and when Samsung updates the store app fall back and use that version. - Today
