Hi, we only launch it on windows and macOS, so that's why you won't see that option on Linux. If it's launching with flatpak then it's likely due to the way we're declaring it in the flatpak manifest. Or it might be flatpak doing it and it's not even something we can control. We'll have to look into it. You could also try the native linux package for your platform, if we have one.

Hi, you haven't done any operations in Trakt yet after setting up the pin. Try doing something, such as running one of the scheduled tasks, or marking something as played or unplayed manually.

As a test, can you try uninstalling and reinstalling the app? Thanks.

Setup in what way how? To do what?

I've mentioned before, I just use a laptop as my server and keep my files on a NAS in the basement. Laptop uses 15-20 watts of power, has a built in mouse and keyboard if needed, and a built in screen (mine is smashed but I paid less than $200 for it). My current server is an i5-1235u laptop with a smashed screen. Easy to tuck away, super power power, and quicksync is a beast when it comes to transcoding. They can be had for under $300 still on eBay, and sometimes less if you get one with a damaged screen like mine. The AI/Surveillance centre apocalypse has destroyed pricing sadly.

I literally posted what the CVE was in picture form with plain english and no tech babble, while the very first post had a direct link to the CVE, and still the ignorant masses here continued to wag their epeen and puffed out their chest claiming that the information was wrong and that they would only take it from Luke's mouth as proof.. People embrace their ignorance and belittle those who actually know what they are talking about as the ignorant make up their own facts if the truth doesn't fit their narrative. If anything, this thread just shows how many users here know nothing about computers while claiming they do..

Yes, badges based on either which library an item is in, or which folder an item is in within a library. So everything in my Recordings library gets a Recording badge, everything in my Unowned library gets an Unowned badge, everything in the Stubs subfolder of my Movies library gets a Stub badge, etc.

Hello, I think there has been a misunderstanding regarding my topic. The issue is not the PIN generation. The PIN is generated correctly. However, after I validate it, the authentication token is never retrieved, and Emby never appears in the "Connected Apps" section on Trakt. This is where the authentication process seems to fail. To be completely honest and transparent, Emby Server on Android works very well. However, the Emby Android TV app (used without Kodi) has been a very poor experience for me. I've encountered numerous playback issues, including video codec problems, latency, and overall performance. Perhaps it works better on an NVIDIA Shield, but on my setup it is simply not a satisfactory experience. After many tests, the only stable and reliable solution I found is: - Emby Server - Kodi - EmbyCon - Trakt for Kodi With this setup, Kodi is the actual media player, and the Trakt for Kodi addon successfully syncs all watched movies and TV shows with my Trakt account. Please don't take this as negative criticism. My goal is simply to provide feedback that may help identify the issue. From my point of view, there is still work to be done on the Emby Trakt plugin, because in my case the process stops after the PIN is generated: the OAuth token is never retrieved, and nothing is registered on the Trakt side.
