Hi there, are you worried about fanart being overridden or emby adding additional fanart once you’ve customised it? This shouldn’t happen, there’s an option in your library ‘After the initial import, automatically refresh metadata from the internet’ - set that to never which I believe is the default. But if you’re just interested in replacing fanart, how are you planning on adding your own fanart? If you’re going to move them into the folders manually then you could just mass delete using whatever CLI you have available on your OS. Add your new ones in and then rescan your library. If you have correctly named fanart emby should not try to download any more. If you’re going to manually edit each item in the GUI then you might as well just delete them there when you’re adding. There used to be an Emby Media Manager tool I used to use years ago, no idea if that’s still maintained but you should find info by searching the forum.

When listening to songs via the web player, the webplayer sometimes just "stops" at the end of the song, which looks like this: I've been trying to localise the cause of this issue but so far, all I've noticed were a number of "Uncaught (in promise)" messages: 22/#!/videoosd/videoosd.html:1 Uncaught (in promise) undefined Pressing play produces the following console log: basehtmlplayer.js:1 Uncaught (in promise) NotSupportedError: The element has no supported sources. I've kept the tab on-screen on another monitor but still the player eventually gave up. Pressing the "next" or "previous" song buttons bring the player back to life. It's pretty annoying because I'm trying to use this as background music but have to walk over to my PC every now and then to manually go to the next song. This time it gave up after exactly 20 songs. I'll keep a count when it happens again.

The Emby Android client version 3.5.30 has UI issues. When scrolling through Continue Watching, Latest, or the media library, the icons flicker.

@yocker A question, when doing a metadata extraction/backup, will files namned as Fanart.jpg be the same as the "Backdrop" selection in choosing wich files will be extracted? Will the filenamne remain the same? Thanx!

Whadap! I have read doc:s but was unable to figure this one out. I would like to add some own fanart for backdrops but my folders (series, movies,moviecollections etc..) already have alot of Fanart.jpg:s Is there a way to remove all existing fanart in bulk somewhere within Emby settings and/or Plugins? I get that i can change library settings from downloading anything in libarary settings, by choosing none of the metadata download settings, i guess that would result in nothing being downloaded going forward in adding librarys? Also, i was thinking about the "lock" function in the option to edit individual metadata only relate to the Nfo. file? Thanx!

Hi Luke, how do you explain that Once Upon a Time In China is correctly converted to AAC while others not? I am baffled if the device is reporting support for something that it does not? This is not consistent in my opinion. If what you said is true then no audio will be playing for all files, right?

@Luke What exactly is the logic with the Cinema Intros plugin at this point? It does change the trailers, but they still seem to be somewhat related (comedies always seem to give me comedy trailers, for instance). Is there no way we can just have a toggle switch that makes the trailer selection *completely* random?

User custom folder uses series.running.png and series.ended.png. Not series_

Nevermind... Resolved. I changed the Metadata to match, refreshed / rescanned metadata, cancelled the series recording and re-scheduled a few moments later.... all resolved, existing episodes are now correctly accounted for.

Seems like series_running.png and series_ended.png are not checked for in Custom folder? Nor are they reported in Icon Manager?

Same here, Emby Version 4.9.3.0, InfuseSync 1.5.2.0 From the moment i installed Episode Refresh and started the task (at night, 3am), Emby crashed. InfuseSync disabled, all good. As i definitely need InfuseSync, i cannot use the refresher.

Hello all, I'm recording episodes of a show which is being broadcast on one channel but is identified in my library as something else. This results in duplicate episodes being recorded despite the settings being correct. See screen shots. Season 24 episode 38 already exists but is scheduled for recording. How do I fix this? Do I need to edit the Metadata for the show in the library? Thanks again

I think I got it going. I'm on a completely different portion. I was able to enter path. And now I'm see a time showing 64%, which I assume is the transcoding going oon. Thank you for your help. David

What is the local path to that folder on the nas? you need to determine that and then enter that into emby dialog.

It was just an example for the syntax of a backend server entry. You have something routing the traffic to port 443 on the backend. It could be a conflicting rule or something else overriding the haproxy settings or the haproxy settings themselves may be incomplete. It really doesn't matter if it's Emby or some other app on the backend, the basic setup would be the same. Just have to figure out why the requests to 443 are passed through to 443 and not translated to 8096. Plenty of resources and even YouTube videos for this. You could also search the forums to see if others have examples using the pfsense UI.
