i probably can do that yeah... real fast though i decided to look back into my "Alerts" history/log on emby and seen that it started failing calculating statistics after the update to 3.3.2.0, before that is was fine... so should i try uninstalling then re-install the version before that?

Can you turn on debug logging, cycle the logs, run the all user task, the DM me the log file?

ok, i honestly do not know if it is because of the beta or not, i am kinda stuck on beta till the next stable release then i can stop being on beta. . . i went ahead and uninstalled and then restarted emby and then installed again and restarted.. still doing same thing with failing . . the server has been rebooted many times so its def not that... i have a few programs for deleting and unlocking files so i checked that file and it shows that it is not being locked or used by another program... im very lost here on what the issue is.. i really doubt my server and user base has gotten to big for the plugin to handle, im pretty sure there are people with larger library then me. either way i just wish we could figure out the issue.

Yesterday I updated to 4.9.3.0, and the translation images I posted in previous posts for version 4.9.1.90 are still untranslated, even though the text has been translated for a long time. Is there a problem, or is it just happening to me?

Hi, I manage to set to remux the .ts to .MKV it takes 46s for a 1hr show, and adds the EDL and chapters to the video, total time 2:30 minutes per video, if I disable generating chapters it takes 1minute and few seconds. Thank you. the container is awesome, it was a bit tricky to set just to remux.

Question about the scheduler. Say I have the Trakt trending movies tagged as Spotlight, but then I schedule AutoTag to tag my horror movies as Spotlight in October and my noir movies as Spotlight in November. Will the Trending movies still get mixed in with that? It seems like they will. Might make sense to have a “remove all other rules” option or something? A way to have a fallback if no schedule is applied, but not have that fallback get mixed in with a scheduled list.

Thank you for super quick response. I just checked it out - sounds promising. I already installed Emby 4.10.0.3 but I see that I have to copy the ddl to emby plugins folder and I am on Synology 7.2+ so it will be lost between updates and some tinkering have to be done. Cause of this I'll try it some other day - I already did setup my library with strm files for multi language support for different users. Is there maybe a list of planned features which u guys are working on? Currently I am mostly cheering for native support for "same files, but different language libraries" and "manual plugin installation page" (no surprise with this one ). I have to admit that I am feeling like 15-20 years back with this Forum - I mean it in positive way. The google indexes Forum results, the Forum is friendly (I mean users and overall UX/UI) and searchable. No some bullshit "have to register to read", "have to create account..." I am just feeling like the time when Internet was an awesome place Also Emby is very "owner/privacy/customization" friendly (plex can learn thing or two from u guys - I used plex for a month) and way more performant (then jellyfin - used for half a year). Way to go guys! I already bought my lifetime pass ❤ - I am only sad that I went for Emby as last - each setup and learning curve took me some time Btw. the multilangauge librariers also need some workaround for jellyfin (there I created symlinks for jellyfin), but they are very good in plex (no custom setup needed). I don't support the beta channel. So If it's related to that, you'll have to wait for the release The plugin doesn't keep any data, It only aggregates it. So you can try uninstalling and reinstalling it without worry of loss data I've never seen this error. If the json files are locked by something else it would fail to load and the plugin would silently crash because it needs those files to display. I'm guessing you've rebooted the server to no avail?

You can buy a server on Amazon. Get a good one. Get Plenty of Space. Turn it on your network, install the Emby Server application on it. Rip your existing content from DVD's, BluRay's or VHS and add those to your Emby Server Library, then connect the app that you installed on your phone / tv / media box to your Emby Server. Easy. Well, in a nutshell that is.

It is not easy to have a meaningful discussion when only indirect questions are allowed and even those receive only partial answers. Would providing a pcap file help you investigate this further?

Hi @ebr Since you are not responding to my questions about the client logs and the required URL access list, I assume that the Emby client has neither logging nor a debug mode, and that your team does not have a complete list of required URLs and call-home endpoints. Also, if the customer is using Wi-Fi instead of Ethernet, there may be additional variables involved, as you are probably aware. Does this mean that the only way to dig deeper is for the customer has to perform a traffic capture?

Hi. The TV layouts currently only horizontally scroll those - unless you choose the "small tile" style. The next release of the server is going to give you more control over this in most apps, however.

Howdy yall! I have looked and searched but havent found anything useful, so posting is my last resort. I have latest Emby server on my Windows NUC, and i have tried with both Universal Android App aswell as latest Android TV app. Is there any way to make homescreen layout, the same as webb app? With two rows and not need to scroll right to see the last ones? I have tried changing sizes in setting, changing to verical and so on.. Example: The one with Dexter is Emby Universal Android, the other one Android TV app and the one with the OLED background is the webbapp. Is it possible to make either Universal Android and/or Android TV app to have the same layout as the webb app? (I hope all that made sense in what im looking for...) Thanx!

Hello i disovered that the Scan Library Files function for one item works only for its primary folder. It's weird because the item offers selection of all versions in the drop down list. Ex: For the Serie "Industry" I have 2 folders for 2 versions strutured like this (flat): Industry (2020)/ Industry (UHD) (2020)/ MediaInfo for the item "Industry" shows that the primary folder is Industry (2020). In this case, if i put a SRT file in the UHD version, it is not scanned. Here the related subject: Thanks

Hi. Purchasing again isn't going to help you. Something has to be blocking the TV's access to our servers. Do you have the ability to sniff the network when the TV is giving this error?
