Emby has a portmapper plugin that utilizes Upnp to automagically take care of port forwarding. Tech Savvy people have this disabled and turned off and "manually" handle ports. Since you haven't really explained your environment (from what I can read) and honestly, don't know much about eero what their web interface looks like for port forwarding its difficult to assist. If you goto whatsmyip.org from a laptop or computer and display the first 2 octects of your ip, we can tell if you are behind CGNAT or not. I would never take the ISP word for it as generally fist level support don't even know what that means. By first 2 octects I mean EXAMPLE your ip is XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX so if the first two are the first two XXX.XXX again Example, if you have 10.xxx or 172.xxx or 192.xxx you are definitely behind CGNAT. If you have let's say 99.xxx you have a public IP. your INTERNAL network will most likely always be 10, 172 or 192. The idea is to port forward all incoming requests from EXTERNAL 99.xxx port 8096 to INTERNAL 192.xxx Thats the first step.

Now I have read 5000 dvd.iso files into Emby after testing for a couple of weeks. The dvd.iso files where there are several subtitles to choose from, there is something wrong with the subtitles' font. Is it possible to modify your ISO mounter/player so that the subtitles' font is easier to read? Photo 4 + 6 = good font to read photo 5+7 = bad font to read it is the same on a windows computer and on the Samsung TV

I'm just testing out some of the functionality and so far it's been very positive, a great project so well done! One query I have is, what if there is a scenario where you don't want to enter the upstream credentials and only want to use dispatcharr? I've entered my dispatcharr account in the initial Connection Settings but I have not enabled the dispatcharr integration. Does the plug-in know I am using a dispatcharr server so I get those benefits, or am I not using this as designed? Just for info, if I do enable the dispatcharr integration and I enter the same credentials the connection test fails with "✗ Login failed (HTTP 401). Response: {"detail":"No active account found with the given credentials"}"

@CorruptedMinds request limits are reset on the first of each month, if u hit the limit already u can contact us and we can reset the counter for ur key, we can do this sometimes just not too frequently

When does the API key renew if you hit the api key limit for the month?

And what about the subtitle positioning error? What's the status of that?

Could it be possible to open the web app with CSS on Android TV. As ann app so it works with remote? Or will this just don't work, because of video players etc that is needed? Like, on my PC I install Emby as an Chrome app. I know that is not as simple in Android. But isn't many apps just web apps or what it is called?

Hrm. The files were properly tagged - looks like the bug was occurring even for files that haven't changed in years. ffprobe showed correct metadata both for old files and the new files I added. I have used the same beets & picard config a long time with no real changes. Anyway, I was able to get this to work by upgrading to the 4.10.0.4 beta and then simply doing a complete "Refresh Metadata" on the music library with no other underlying files or configuration changes. I guess it's probably a latent upgrade bug somewhere... But it's resolved for now and I can't recreate it.

Maybe a fluke, maybe related but restarting the Emby server app did not help but a complete restart of my physical server seems to have cleared the issue for recording completed after the restart. The recordings made before the restart still did not work. @LukeWhat I saw was the "No compatible Streams Available" message on Roku but did play fine on the PC through the web app. Thanks guys.

Came here to reawaken this thread. I'm having the same issue on a Pixel 8 Pro. I'm always having problems in a dark room. To the point that it's unbearable for us to watch a movie in bed. The brightness setting between 0/100 and 1/100 is just out of control. 0 is too dark and 1 is too bright. It doesn't get any brighter beyond 40. Meaning between 40 and 100, it's the same level of brightness, i.e. the highest brightness. On my OnePlus Pad 2 tablet though, everything works perfectly The setting of 10 is nice in a dark room and it increases all the way up to 100 neatly and evenly. Maybe it's just a problem with Google Pixel phones?

@LukeThe UI just spins whenever trying to access any page. Home, Settings, anything. It does not matter. This is the same whether I'm locally connected or from a separate system. If I do not reboot emby from the server side it never comes up. Note that I give up after an hour of waiting. Could it come up on its own after 2-3 hours, maybe but after 1 hour, I give up. Note that I could probably restart much sooner than the 1hr mark but that's the same thing. At least for me restart is the only thing that works.

You say both mapped but I can no longer see 970 in the lineup for Sky Q West

Hey, same problem here. On the soundiiz connect webinterface I get the error: "Valid credentials but invalid server configuration." I tried each combination with public ip, domain, and ports 443, 8096 & 8920. The emby server is also reachable from everywhere. It is worth to mention I run the emby server behind nginx proxy manager. @jdewoody71 are you running behind a reverse proxy too? Unfortunately I couldn't gather any more info on soundiiz

Because the previous check was that the third number (4.9.4.1) wasn't 0. The check was changed to the fourth number being 0 just a couple of weeks ago.
