I have a 4 tuner live TV box (vbox), and have simultneous stream limit set to 0, but I can only stream 1 channel. If I play say BBC one on one device, it plays fine, but then try and select ITV on another device I get playback error, internal server error. Incidentally, I can play the same channel on multiple devices fine. Help.

Whenever a network change happens on my phone, such as going from wifi to cellular or vice versa or turning a vpn on/off, I become disconnected to the server and it won't load anything until the app is restarted. However this issue does not occur when actually watching video, but backing out of the video after the network change still causes the issue. This is all demonstrated in the attached video. It also happens almost every time I open the app if it's been awhile, so i'm constantly restarting the app. At first I thought it occured when changing from remote to local connection but that is not the case. The example shown in the video is connected remotely before and after. Hi Folks! How is the status with this currently? I came across with this problem again, and it would be extremely useful if I can use rk's hw acceleration with emby.

Thanks for the suggestion. I deleted everything in the cache folder, but nothing changed. Same effect. Only Tizen is able to show recommendations. I have a lifetime subscription. Is there any official way to send a support ticket to the developers or something like that? Or do I have to wait for the kindness of volunteers and users?

In the system.xml main configuration file there is a section: <SortRemoveWords> <string>the</string> <string>a</string> <string>an</string> <string>das</string> <string>der</string> <string>el</string> <string>la</string> </SortRemoveWords> You can edit this (manually, not through the GUI) as required. Media I, Security idea that might be useful for users who like using the web client only. I like setting up a hidden page online on a website I control, with a fun image and an image map. The user clicks some part of the image and they are taken to the Emby IP address. Security benefits: You set the IP address and the port, inside some area of the image of some fun photo (image map). If you decide to change the port or have to move to a new IP address, you update the hidden page link and you're done. Where does the default Sort Title come from? On new movies and occasionally then I use Bulky Editor, and Movie title beginning with the letter A, the A is dropped. I appreciate dropping the leading "The" but prefer leaving the leading "A". If it's an Emby thing could it be made an option to leave the leading A or not?

Any reason why Emby would keep changing my tags to all lower case? Removing them and readding is really not an option (currently at 95,000 tags). I know if I screw up typing they all follow that standard but this is all tags showing lowercase. The interesting part is when looking at them from Movies-Tags, they are all correct. It's only in the individual Metadata do they show lowercase.

When you select download there should be a quality picker.

I think you can set quality to original.

Does all the user have a static ip? What if there DHCP lease renews? What if they go mobile? Personally I use geo blocking in my firewall.

I have three versions of Aliens. I can only edit one of them in the metadata editor, so to edit the others I have to edit the .nfo file directly. One has different genres to the other two, but every time I edit the incorrect one Emby just edits it right back. How can I make it stick?

Hi! Im thinking of beefing up my security in regards to remote acess. I have Reverse proxy with Caddy and NO-IP but then i was thinking i could just restrict remote acess to the IP:s of my devices i use outside LAN and a few other users. I have looked at the knowledge base but couldnt really figure it out and i thought i would ask for some pointers in the server settings first. Im guessing its the "Filter for external IP-adresses"? And if so, do i add them like: 192.168.x.x,192.168.x.x ? (an external IP might look different regarding numbers but you get what i mean:)) Is Emby Connect worth looking into? Is there any settings in the server that anyone would reccomend for restricting remote acess security other than this those would be most welcome Thanx! N.
