Any update on the audio only capability? I enjoy listening to documentaries while I work, and having it native on android auto while I drove would be very convenient for playtime tracking

The cleanup is really nice and will be a huge timesaver! Is there a limit on how much it's pulling? I have a bunch of junk tags in various sections it's not showing. there's a bunch in movies it's also not displaying. I've come up against an issue which I think is tied to the fact the app is running in a web wrapper. On films with 8 channel audio the app produces no sound. Regardless of audio codec, anything 8 channel is silent. When I play the same films via DLNA using the TV's built in video player the audio works. I think whatever browser version the app is utilising doesn't have the appropriate codecs or capabilities to support 8 channel audio. Would it be possible to add a "force downmix to 2.0/5.1" function to the app so this can be mitigated?

I am currently in the process of creating myself a js script for discord notifications. I created a Trending channel and it gathers info and posts to relevant channel. my issue is that Monk appears to show 19604 plays from 1 user. This is not correct i know for sure. Is this a common issue, which would then render my script for trending pointless.

Hello i am quite frustrated with my local library and multi-version downbox list with names i cannot distinguish the version. Here my structure with an example: VOD/4K/Industry (2020)/Season 01/S01E01 - Initiation.strm VOD/1080p/Industry (2020)/Season 01/S01E01 - Initiation.strm I can see the 2 versions but the names are identical: S01E01 - Initiation So i cannot chose the 4K or 1080p version. Is it possible to have this information contained in the parent folder structure? Thanks

I could not get Emby Premier key to register on Version 4.10.0.4 beta, all I seem to get when I open the settings menu Emby Preier Tab is the blue rotating waiting circle. It would allow me to click the save key and inform me that the key was updated, but the Buy Preier logo never disappeared and the feastures don't work (at least I can't download episodes or media to my mobile phone.. I updated to Version 4.10.0.8 beta and I still have the same problem! Would agree 100%. When home screen makes it to Stable, then if you wish to (and Emby have ok'd), release a well tested version in the Catalogue, but keep future betas and any new releases you do as DLL's as you do now. In short, follow the Emby stable release schedule to reduce support overhead.

Why listening to Radios isn't an easy process on Emby? Tunein app is loading absolutely no content. No matter if you add the Lat Lon and username. Web Streams only works with mp3/aac feeds and on the Android client - not on the web. Web error: (No compatible streams are currently available. In the live TV app, you may add m3u feeds (BBC and a few others) but they would only work on Web and not on Android! Android error: No compatible streams are currently available. Hi! My girlfriend is using her Android Tablet to stream from my Emby server on Win11. All of a sudden a series, wich is in HEVC MP4, stutters, goes black and pixel artifacts appears in fullscreen mode but when turning it vertically it plays just fine. The dashboard on my server says direct play, also the stats in the app. When reading the logs i got the impression that some subtitle plugins is creating the error but im not sure, any help would be much appreciated. v5 !!! Super Speed Demon !!! v5 (perhaps shoulda been v8 ???) Mp3tag: 6min35sec writing 1 tag to 1270 tracks over wireless network doing several other things. Emby_Album_Tag_Importer: 0min8sec writing the same 1 tag from, single Album track, on same network All Artists problem is fixed - now just Album Artists. Reports can be generated and exported for Excel (just a quick test so far). Error logging works as follows (from earlier today): There was a massive long path. A long Disc subfolder under the main Album folder, plus the track_name.flac. It seemed to be only 220 characters (under 260 limit?), but I shortened the overall length to 110 chracters and all was good!

All three devices use different Google Play Store accounts — no shared accounts across any of them.

Are those devices using same or different store accounts?

So if there is an embedded forced sub, Roku can never show subs for this file now?

I am also having this issue since about a month back. Subtitles just don't appear on the Roku, but work fine on VLC, or in a web browser on Windows. Doesn't matter which subtitle stream is selected.
