The audio player OSD has a favorite button on the main button row. The video player OSD does not have a favorite button because the main button row is filled with so many other things. But.. looking at the web app I can see it has a menu option called "More", under the cog/gear menu. Inside that more menu is shown a favorite button and indeed has the way to change favorites among other things. It would need to be implemented in a similar way if we were to add this to the Roku. A new button called "More" that when clicked would show those options in the same manner as the web app.

I have a my emby-server and my Samsung tv on the same network. Due to recent events, i decided to cut internet access for my TV (disabled WAN-Access on the router for the MAC of the Samsung-TV). The TV doesn't load any ads anymore, streaming from the emby-server works. So everything is looking good. Except: The Emby-App crashes every few minutes. It doesn't matter which content i play, it freezes for a while, then crashes, then i can start emby-app again and it works, until it freezes again a few minutes later. I tried to allow internet access and it worked again without issues. However, i'd like to keep my tv blocked. Can something be done about it? Another thing I want to say is this is the difference between big companies and smaller companies that are bigger without screaming about it. Smaller companies with a community easily can over take any rivals for the simple fact community means family based as one Youtube with community helpers on the payroll together are unstoppable Also with Youtube views we can probably make a fortune all who is involved

I would like to build a channel based on Emby and would like to get approval to do so using the name "Emby+". The Youtube channel would be Emby related only with a slogan "Emby Plus the one to trust". I would also be linking posts to Youtube for help & info related chatter for setting up Nas as well as network issues remote logins among many other details. If you are ok with this great, I will start on some content and gain traction for this forum hopefully sooner than later. If any other users on here would care to join me in making high quality content please speak up as I could use all the help I can get. Eventually this will become a payday for all users involved perfect for people who wish to work from home.

Thanks for the location information, I would have never found it because the Help/About is not available until inside the application. All I see in the logs is the following error message. I have wiped the data for the application with Windows Settings and manually be deleting the entire Emby folder in AppData\Local\Packages. Is there are alternative to gracenote to stop this from happening? Shouldnt the OTA data override gracenote?

I was able to install version Emby for Android TV_2.1.26g, and it works great. However, the "Playback/Audio Output/Stereo Downmix" menu is still there.

Interestingly, I wish this manual page was a bit more thorough and literal in its wording. But I think I'm pretty clear on the process. The other page I mentioned earlier was very well written and detailed, but didn't seem to be related to what I was doing. The help documentation you all provide is excellent. No criticisms here!

The newest version is the newest version, and there will eventually be a version that's newer than the current newest version, but that's always true of both stable and beta, so what's your point? But right now beta and stable have exactly the same features...this argument makes no sense.

The setting for the recording for check whether the episode is in the library already will determine if further airings are recorded or not. If that setting is not enabled, then they should get recorded for subsequent airings and would all have the same base filename. I expect them to be playable as if there were different versions

I'm pretty sure Emby does not start a scheduled task if another one is running. I will look into that because I always had that assumption.

Bonjour, I updated my version of EMBY for TV this week from 2.0.70g to 2.1.55. Unfortunately, after this update, I can no longer run faster all my movies—for example, all of my recordings. I noticed that the option "audio output" to put "downmix stereo" is no longer exists. As a result, some videos no longer support playback acceleration. On the standard EMBY Android app, I can't speed up the playback at all. Would it be possible to bring back this option and include it in the Standard version? Or to have an automatic toggle when you speed up a video?

Went from Media Portal directly to Emby I think it was although I'm a nerd so I tinkered with all and every but all in all I'm just trying to cut out Tivimate for live tv but now the way Emby has advanced into something you do not want to exit out of to open another app for tv YEAH EMBY IS NOW PERFECT !
