Yes I am not sure how to setup Advanced Settings, but setting it as Yes seems to be working just fine as videos are streaming smoothly. -

I wish someone with Emby team would just develop an addon like Plex did. I know they don't care because they just want us to use the android app or shield tv, but the issue is Dolby Vision does not work on any of those (or P7 FEL in the Shield TV's Case). Many of us paid lifetime and to be honest, feels like a one and done. No real development in years.

yes i can pm you, but might the json response from the skills api queries above tell you what is going on.. I note the api query for the artist returns multiple artists (but the correct one is indeed first). I note only one song is returned for MTS (and M T S is not the first in Artists node, and certainly not in the Albumartist node at all). I note that this Artist has no album as such, she has one track as member of "artists" on a compilation album, let me know if still needed and i will send a sample of it. -
I would look for it on the meta site (like themoviedb) and name it the same as what they did. Ich würde es auf der Metaseite (wie z. B. themoviedb) suchen und es genauso benennen wie sie.

oops they were indeed shuffled, i didnt listen that far before FWIW the audio feedback doesnt confirm that shuffled keyword is place is in place and is not distinguishable from standard playlist playback, eg "Playing Playlist Car Shuffled", might be a nice to have if trivial/fits the design. Alexa ecosystem support might be generally lifted if database searching was faster. By the the time you get down to songs the api really chugs, i will have another play with the sqllite performance settings, maybe i forgot to implement best practice on the most recent server build. -
@ginjaninja Ear Wax is racing a few clocks: The provider server has to find the playlist, artist, album, or genre. The provider server has to return enough tracks. the underlying code has to build the queue and send Alexa a playable URL. Alexa has to receive that response before it decides the skill took too long To buy the time, you shorten the payload, you get music started and while the music is playing you perform the necessary tasks. So yes, the first 2 tracks will ALWAYS be the same, but from track 3 until the end, those tracks should be different. Not everyone has a super fast very powerful server, so I tend to favor the slower ones, when developing Ear Wax

I have previously purchased an android license (tablet), and a fire tv app license. On the fire tv I have been getting notices that there is a new android app available. After downloading it, it asks me to pay for a new license, but seems to only accept an emby premier license. I would like it to use my existing firestick app license. If that is not possible, I would not mind paying for an extra app license. I do not like the fact that it is not giving me a choice to get an app license.

Okay I’ve been testing this and it seems like for mobile apps and remote users it will select the secondary audio automatically IF the second track is flagged as default in the mkv container. For example: my movie has 2 tracks. First track is Dolby trueHd, and second is eac3 compatibility. If both are labeled as default, remote users and my phone will automatically play the second track. And devices that can natively play trueHd, will play that one. However, it only works automatically if both are labeled as default. If my secondary audio track does not have “yes” enabled in the container, the apps don’t automatically select it. Not saying this is wrong, but this is what I’ve discovered on how to get it working.

@ginjaninja Regarding the playlist, ok the first two were the same, the question becomes, were the rest shuffled? Considered the Mysterians issue resolved, you requested x it returned x.. why it does what it does is not really the issue, as long you get the correct results in the most effective manner, but to answer your question in one word, SQL.

Command "Alexa ask ear wax to shuffle playlist car" Response "Playing playlist car" track1 is always 1st,track2 is always 2nd (its not shuffled) Out of interest is it intended?....Is the skill shuffling the results? or the api call to emby? "Alexa ask ear wax to play artist questionmark and the mysterians" is now working (hooray) but the skill is dropping "questionmark and the" from the api search (seems dangerous why is that necessary out of interest?) -

I might have figured it out, when I had it set to Advanced it was really poor, but set to Yes, it seems ok so far. I do plan to invest in a newer hdd maybe a internal 12 tb or larger to expand my storage.
