What i introduced myself as Ivana Humpalot from Russia, but realized i mixed up the emby forum for the LGTQB+ forum, do you still think its a good idea with the 50 posts rule before you can change your nick? Whats the point of that rule?

What if i put in some strange name like Dick Johnson, but then regret.. "oh noes, its emby forum, not "badjokes.com". Do you really want that weird name all over your message board before youre able to change it?

I didn't want to dig thru my old posts about this same issue to tag this new derivative to it, so here's a new post! I have Android TV (what we mainly use) and the standard Android app on the Shield. Last night we opened ATV, see a newly recorded movie "I Am Legend" on the Home Screen in 'latest', decided we really didn't want to watch it, and then deleted it. We then go into the Movies library and browse. We see the movie we just deleted but with a 'missing image' for the movie card. We select a movie and watch it. We opened the std app and see the deleted movie on the Home Screen in latest, and it also shows a 'missing image' for the movie card. We delete it again and it goes away. The deleted movie timestamp in Windows Recycle Bin is the time we deleted it the first time. Any clues in the log file as to what went wrong? embyserver-63907315200.txt

Funny, i have never experienced my browser do that. Why is this place the first time that have ever happened? And i cant change my nickname either until after 50 posts. Strange rule dont you think?

maybe this was ment to happen to underline my point: If you engineer a system where 1 mistake locks you into a cycle of pointless posting or need of assistance, youre making yourself morally responsible for assisting customers that make these mistakes. When youre in the military, you dont give out fragile guns that can break if someone, you make sure that gun works no matter what mistake or abuse the user does to it. I think the same design philosphy should be the goal even if its software for a home server or a message board. First time ive heard of a message board that automatically puts in your email if you forget to type a nickname.

The display name field is first. If that got autofilled with your email, it wasn't the forum that did that. It was your browser.

I have tried the new version, the filename rules work fine with series and seasons, but seems to have problem with episodes. My chinese subtitle icon is displayed on Series and seasons poster, but not shown on episode fanarts

I've had great success with TMDB for thumbnails, as 99% of their images meet the 1920x1080 standard. Fanart.tv is useless, It only covers about 5% of my TV shows. I use thumb view and need the titles included. Fanart.tv works for posters, but I’d love to see a 'text-on-thumb' option added. Keep in mind that the 'Thumb view specifically scaled down to fit the thumbnail slot; it isn't utilised as a high-resolution backdrop.

@Luke do you have some news on this? Having some kind of option to disable animations would be quite welcome. I'm running the app on a couple of MiStick 4Ks and feels really slow, not a nice experience at all. I've disabled the animation settings in Developer Options but as mentioned above, makes no change in Emby for Android (in Emby for Android TV the settings have effect)

@LukeYes when the VPN is off, all channels get their guide data. The question is why when the VPN is on and data.tmsapi.com is split outside of the VPN does some channels get their data and others don't. Its the same channels each time. One thing I may try today is to see if I can see if its a specific guide by checking one that works (example food network) and ensure they are using the same guide.

Really? Im the first? I doubt that. It says "required" and then automatically fills in your email if you dont put something there and press submit. Strange.

so it automatically puts in the email... well heres another reason why it would be smart to change things a little bit. Im like a living beta-tester.... if it can go wrong, it will go wrong, and i wont be the first one doing these stunts.

Ya he solucionado lo del HDR, he cambiado en el Android Tv box, en configuracion de pantalla, busque Dolby Vision establecido, y he cambiado sink por dispositivo, por source por dispositivo. Y he probado lo que me ha dicho Parpatrus(gracias por tu ayuda), he comentado lo de la memoria ram, porque ahora no va en "dual channel", pero no creo que sea eso el problema, he echo esto, he desactivado la transcodificacion, de audio y del video, y de del video me ha funcionado, pero con el audio me ha dado cuenta, que cuando no es compatible lo transcodifica, y parece que el "TrueHD 7.1"parece que no funciona, pero quiero que me salga en "e-ac3", pero solo consigo en "ac3", en mi android tv box, lo tengo colocado el "passthrough", y he cambiado a "pcm" y en usas formatos que indica el dispositivo, y sigue haciendo el "ac3", y tambien he cambiado en la configuracion de reproduccion de emby, en salida de audio, he escogido "convierta audio no compatible a dolby digital".
