These both work fantastic. Sorry I didn't want to post across both threads if that is OK. I initially misunderstood the BespokeDB - for some reason I thought it was similiar to this one, but then I realised it was a metadata & image source. Anyway, so far absolutely no issues with either. My Criterion Collection is about 600 movies and it seems to have not any issues with it. The A24 worked a treat as well and was able to use the studio tags perfectly. If I run into any issues with any of these I will update in the correct threads. But so far absolutely loving them both.

Its not like the providers can't throttle or restrict/ration by IP. I meant if Emby were to programatically make it so that all our libraries were updating every single day auto"magically" without having to do anything. Where they (Emby) made the choice to hammer the provider, not the user (you). That would be seen as abusive. Not that you yourself a single person refresh your entire library is just a drop of water in an ocean of bandwidth. I meant this is why Emby isn't doing it. But once a month refresh them seems certainly doable.

Oder werden sogar bei jedem Scannen auch eventuell nicht vorhandene immer wieder gesucht? Because nothing would ever actually be removed from the playlist, merely hidden on the home screen.

I was thinking more of a monthly thing. I have manually clicked the 'refresh metadata' on my whole Movie Library and watching the Electricity smart meter go wild

Why do you say that? We don't actually have a "watchlist" function. You are just finding a way to create one with the features we do have and I'm just offering suggestions for how you may be able to make it work better for you. Take them or leave them.

I mean, if I didn't want my watched/unwatched data to be accurate, I guess, although you'd also eventually end up with the playlist containing basically every movie on the server and I'd instead have to change its watch status to get it to appear on the list, and the list would no longer be in the correct order. Or, like every other service that offers a watchlist function, you could provide an easy way to remove things from said list.

Those ratings fluctuate based upon the votes received in real time. At that point in time more people were enjoying Adele. She was a 9.4. But as time progresses and more people becoming aware of this and have watched it they also leave their votes. Then it tends to get a downward swing usually. Where you can't be sure are these Adele haters out to influence the vote and trying to 1 star her to death. Like people do on Yelp/Google/Etc to restaurants that try to force people to tip. Especially the ones that confront them angrily when they don't, like the owner of Ari & Mia's Small Town Cafe found out. The internet is forever. What I mean is you can never match IMDB exactly. Emby isn't parsing IMDB for data at all. There is no way to obtain data in real time. You can only get point in time for these. I think the providers would be quite alarmed if that were so. They would see that as abusive more than likely. You keep hitting same endpoints with exact same items every single day?

I did some more tests, seems the issues can be fixed by converting to mp4 hvec. Seems emby has issues with mkv hvec

Same here. Older install from years ago. Updated to this just fine. I DID have to alter the images for some (Trevor) which were showing incorrectly. Emby didn't fix those automatically. By using a right click and choose "Edit Image" then I was only offered correct images as choices. It seems the images might cache incorrectly, but if you update the incorrect ones it fixes it. It was always Trevor from Trailer Park Boys being misidentified. Now it works perfect.

Unfortunately, there are so many errors in your app log I can't see much about actual playback. I see out of memory errors and then a bunch of these which I've never seen before: 10-03 12:46:12.743 17876 18481 I MediaCodec: Display changed, check if the current mode matches content 10-03 12:46:12.743 17876 18481 I MediaCodec: mDisplayRefreshRate = 59.94006 10-03 12:46:12.743 17876 18481 I MediaCodec: mContentRefreshRate = 0.0 10-03 12:46:12.743 17876 18481 I MediaCodec: mRefreshRateMatchesContent = false Notice the content refresh rate... How was this content created? I would try rebooting the device to maybe solve the OOM errors. This could be an indication that the subs need to be extracted from the video before they can be muxed back into the HLS stream and this is taking a while on the server.

What happens if you refresh the metadata on Adele?

The IMDb rating is incorrect on Movies poster view. For example, if I enable the IMDb rating on the web GUI then sort by IMDb rating - Adele: One Night Only should be 8.0 and not 9.4 ... but The Shawkshank Redemption *seems* to be correct ... ... what's up? Paully

Wouldn't also marking it "unwatched" at the time you add it to that list take care of this - and then everything would work automatically without you having to manually remove it?

Hi. For an immediate fix, you can add the image you want as a "Thumb" for that library.

Hi, Everytime that I open the app (doesn't matter on which device, Samsung tv, android app, Sony tv or my android cell) I've got this message (2-3sec). I can access and watch my media after. But I just want to ask why it started to appears, I didn't change anything in my devices. Maybe just to be sure why it's not like before. Windows server 4.10.1.0 Thank you.
