Who are you paying? You only have the app? Emby is not a streaming service. Emby does not provide any content. You must create your own Emby server. Populate it with content. If another person created the server and you paid for access to it and now that is not working this is beyond our realm of being able to help. That person was breaking the Emby terms and conditions and illegally offering pirated material for you to stream for their financial benefit. Then eventually they cut you off. This is unfortunate but not something we condone. If instead you created your own Emby server with your own equipment and somehow all that content vanished we would help you because this would be something under your control where we can walk you through it. Please let us know if you own your server or the server belongs to someone else. Thanks.

Good to know, thanks. I did get comskip working with Unmanic and the data file Emby reads is created. I know this because when I have the show countdown/timer option selected I see that, but I can't actually skip the commercials automatically or manually. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi. There is currently no option for this but I'm surprised you think it is "blindingly bright". Does the normal OSD appear that way for you too?

I often find that auto skip intro cuts off parts of my shows. That's why I don't enable the automatic function. It would be great if users could tweak the timing of the skip function, similar to time offset for subtitles. If I have to watch an extra 2 second of intro music to not cut off 2 seconds of a show, I'd prefer that

Just FYI the Android TV app does this exact same process just before playback (if in Auto). It does not currently do it during playback at any sort of interval.

The difference is an episode is not ALSO a container. If it were, it could fall prey to the same complications which are the potential circular references. It isn't that it is unsolvable. Just a lot more complicated than it may seem.

Looks like I was right that the two issues were related. Watching a series for the first time since fixing the Movies library and there hasn't been one freeze up. I think Emby was trying to scan Movies in the background and couldn't causing it to eat more resources trying to do so causing freezes when watching content on the TV. EDIT: The TV app just updated to the latest.

Hi everyone, I’m facing a persistent audio-video synchronization issue with Dolby TrueHD Atmos tracks in the official Emby for Android / Android TV app, and I wanted to share logs and details to help track it down. The Problem: When playing media with a Dolby TrueHD Atmos audio track (bitstreamed/passthrough), the audio and video lose sync gradually. The desync starts to become noticeable right around 54–55 minutes into playback (drifting by about 2 seconds). If I jump backward by 10 seconds, the sync temporarily recovers, but the drift continues over time. Other players work fine: Playing the exact same files through Kodi or ViMu Player on the same hardware has zero sync issues. Scope & Environment: Issue reproduced on 4 different devices: Ugoos AM9 Pro, Xiaomi Mi Box 3, Homatics Box R 4K Plus, and Ugoos SK1. The behavior is identical across all of them. Emby for Android version: Latest version from the Google Play Store. Emby Server version: 4.10 Beta. Audio Setup: Bitstream (Passthrough) via HDMI to a Dolby Atmos-compatible soundbar (Samsung HW-Q930F). What the Logs Show: I captured a debug log during playback using ADB: adb logcat -v time | grep -i -E "emby|exoplayer|audio|codec|video" > emby_debug_logs.txt Looking into the logs around the desync point, the system audio HAL shows regular adjustments, and we can spot warnings from AudioTrack such as: W/AudioTrack: getTimestamp_l: retrograde timestamp position corrected It seems that during long playback sessions of heavy TrueHD Atmos streams, the ExoPlayer / Android MediaCodec passthrough pipeline slowly loses precise PTS alignment, whereas other media players handle this seamlessly. Thank you for this wonderful initiative: this is a true godsend in mixed Apple/Android enviremonts like mine! Keep up the good work! Couple remarks/suggestions: App languages => set default to English! I'm from the Netherlands so both Apple and Android versions start up in Catalan which isn't my strongest piont to be honest . I've fixed it in ios by adding the English language as second phone language and in Android by selecting 'English' within the global Android Embeat app settings but both are a kind of hussle and shouldn't be necessary for non Catalan/Spanish/English speakers. Album Artist => when I go to a Record Shop usually albums are sorted by Album Artist and IMHO it's the most natural way of browsing the catalog. You still can retain 'Artists' as an addition option of course. Multiple genre filtering => should be nice if - for instance - you can select both 'Easy listening' and 'Lounge' and shuffle the songs. Show track bitrate info => show actual played bitrate info at play screen, for instance 'WAV 16bit 44.1kHz Stereo' or 'MP3 16bit 320kpbs Stereo' when transcoded for cellular. Transcoding i.r.t. playback device => expand transcoding not only for network bandwidth but also for playback device soyou can store songs in the highest bitrate of multiple playback devices. On AppleTV, when in LiveTV/Guide, the guide data displayed is for ONLY the day in the top left corner of the guide matrix...i.e., "Thu, Feb 19". To see a different day's guide data (i.e., tomorrow, "Fri, Feb 20"), you cannot scroll forward or backward, you must use the date selector dropdown and pick "Fri, Feb 20". Please consider continuous/lazy loading of subsequent days as the you scroll horizontally, matching the web client behavior. Having the guide arbitrarily stop at midnight is unintuitive for a timeline-based guide. Thanks.

I have a rating-sync plugin running, that will always overwrite any manual changes with "null" or "0" again if it doesn't find a rating in the IMDB CSV files that can be downloaded. This happens for very new movies, or movies with a low number of ratings. So manually editing doesn't solve the issue for me. Nice, it's fixed now. Thank you!

Thanks for the heads up. I haven't reported any issues or spent much time looking at the repo, but I will now. I still like it though, and it's getting very close to being a genuine PlexPy replacement. It's only taken about 8 years

Can anybody tell me what exactly the sync subdirectory in the emby library is and whether it is possible to have it be saved on a different mount? It uses up too much space over time for my small system disk.

and now that i'm back and connected to the server, if i click on delete (for movies in the download category) it deletes the download and not the content from the server...... I can also go in the download category in the parameters and delete them from there, WHICH I COULDN'T ACCESS WITHOUT BEEING CONNECTED TO THE SERVER Unless i'm missing something obvious, the way the download management is forcing you to be connected to the server doesn't make sense Try on your phone and let me know....

As per title. Using an Android phone. Steps to replicate: -Download full series via the usual manner -queue individual episodes for downloading -cancel full series download. Have now cancelled everything, cleared cache, forced stop, but the full series download resumes as soon as I resume downloads or reopen the app. All those downloads fail but its working through it file by file. Can't seem to clear this queue.

Can you help me sign in or not that's all I need to know or who can I haven't been available to watch nothing for 3 weeks
