..7 months later.. I still have the checkpoint but the issue is resolved; I've succesfully updated to version 4.9.5.0. Background: A managed switch did not survive the heat wave which made me rebuild my network (with a 10Gbit managed switch (L)) and it became clear I've learned a lot more about network enginering with PfSense compared to about 8 years ago. It is unclear to me what was the exact issue but the combination of issues or improvements I made compared to the previous setup made me try the update process again. The update process is manual btw I'm running Emby as a Windows service. I very much appreciate that all you folks are [still] here! Cheers

Salut à tous, J'utilise Emby depuis un moment pour organiser ma bibliothèque de films et séries, et je cherche maintenant à compléter mon setup avec du contenu TV live — notamment des chaînes francophones. Je sais qu'Emby permet d'intégrer des sources IPTV via Live TV, mais je me demande quelle est la meilleure approche : 1. Est-ce que certains d'entre vous utilisent un service IPTV externe en complément d'Emby ? 2. Quels critères techniques faut-il vérifier pour une bonne compatibilité (format M3U, EPG, stabilité du flux) ? 3. Pour les francophones ici, avez-vous testé des fournisseurs qui fonctionnent bien avec Emby Live TV ? De mon côté, j'ai commencé à tester VraiTV (vraitv.com) qui propose un essai gratuit de 24h, et la compatibilité M3U/Xtream semble correcte jusqu'ici — mais je suis curieux d'avoir d'autres avis avant de m'engager sur le long terme. Thanks! Yes, separate music/audio libraries are on my list. The idea is that Traxx should respect the Emby library structure instead of simply mixing everything together, especially for users who keep music, audiobooks, classical music, or other audio collections in separate libraries. About users without passwords: at the moment I don’t plan to support passwordless users as a default use case. Traxx is meant to be used as a mobile music app, including remote access to an Emby server. In that context, requiring a password seems like the safer and more sensible approach. I understand passwordless users can be convenient on a trusted local network, but that is not the main scenario I’m building for right now.

And presumably not producing dmp files anymore - The PML file you gave me does not show Emby Client app starting on that computer or even attempted to be started. The PML had a gap between 07:44:00 and 07:44:19 and the EmbyClient.txt file you provided shows it was running between 07:44:08 and 07:44:16 Also the Event Viewer Applicationn log had last event at 07:37:59 So it does not add up. If all provided diagnostics were from the same machine, one possibility is that Procmon had a filter and excluded the launch of the Emby Client app and that the Emby Client app did not crash. There is an option in Procmon in the Filter menu to reset the filter. Alternatively when you click filter you can just delete everything in the filter display and we will get all events And please this time include screenshot of what happens when you launch the Emby Client and give the time of that - and since it is different now, have a look also at the "%LocalAppData%\CrashDumps" folder So if it is not crashing anymore, what is the problem now when using 2.310.2 version? And lets concentrate on only ONE of your 3 windows machines having the issue. Unless there was a filter in procmon, the evidence suggests that the procmon capture was from the wrong PC

User has created their own username with their email address in Emby Connect in another city from me. I added user on my server with their username and email address. Is this correct? They can't see any content from my server, so what am I doing wrong please?

If you need to notify users fast and directly in the Emby app, in-app messaging or webhooks tied to push notifications work best in my experience. Thanks @Guderianfor sending the PML and log and event logs files. I cannot see any Application Errors in the event log as last time. Do you have more than one windows PC's ? Is it posisble this was from the wrong machine? The last logged event in the Application event log was at 07:37:59 but the EmbyClient.txt log file shows that it was launched at 07:44:08 and closed at 07:44:16 on 30th June The last Emby Client application error in the event log was on 4th June for version 2.234.2 - so I am thinking may be you have 2 windows machines and you provided the PML and Event Logs from the wrong machine. Is that possible?

Happened to me today, everything was working fine and then nothing was syncing !! Tried all the usual tricks but now can not even get Emby connected to Trakt as a "connected app" When I save the (new) pin in the plugin page I just get the dreaded spinning wheel that never times out. I'm assuming it's something on the Trakt side that's broken, a change to their API settings maybe ?? Hopefully a plugin update will fix this soon :-)

A "show missing movies in a collection" feature would be really useful, especially for large franchises like James Bond, Marvel, or Harry Potter. It would make it much easier to see which titles you're missing without checking each movie individually. I usually keep track of movie collections with [redacted], and a feature like this would make completing watchlists even more convenient.

Just wanted to add, great plugin, thanks for your hard work in creating this. By default, does this plugin pull rating info on each episode no matter what? I left episodes unchecked under items to update and it still scraped each episode rather than just the series. Not using the imdb fallback. Correct me if I have interpreted this wrong. Cheers again, it worked well regardless.
