Great. Thanks for the info. This issue is resolved with update 4.9.5.17.

Just a quick post since its relevant to the topic. I eventually enforced transcoding for HDhomerun as TS is just not reliable day to day streaming over the internet or I guess any less reliable connection perhaps even wifi (guess). If anyone lands on this with lockups and audio glitches using HDhomerun I recommend just enabling on the fly trnascoding client side setting. Prior to this lockups were daily (year +) and after this they never happen (6 months+)

And indeed, rebooting the AVR seems to have resolved the issue.

When you are adding more entry options to the database (such as the option to add "credit end" that I hope you'll add in the near future) consider adding more skippable tags. I imagine having it fully customizable with the admin being able to add whatever label they desire and then having a start and end entry for those with the UI showing "skip <tag>" in between those two timestamps. My current use case is for old long movies, like Spartacus, that sometimes include an intermission or intermezzo of sorts that I'd like to be able to skip:

Hello, I previously submitted a feature request for the Emby Universal App [Feature Request] Support for passing subtitles to third-party players, and you implemented it—thank you very much. Of course, there was a minor bug in that feature, [BUG] MX Player's subtitle selection won't follow Emby's choice (When movie has other embedded sub) which you also fixed—thank you very much! However, I noticed that Emby for Android TV 2.1.51g doesn’t have this feature. So you made a small sample? Did you ensure the issue also occurs with the sample?

This is normal now. this dialog allows you to quickly cancel in the event the server is unreachable. Then you can quickly get to the server selection screen to enter new connection info. Previously you would have had to wait for it to timeout with just the loading spinner and no way to stop it.

This entire thread feels like an influencer trying to sling their garbage, specially with the amount of lies being peddled.. It appears the main coders worked on Streamio in the past, but I do also wonder how much has been vibe coded as a few of the contributers have almost zero experience on github.. You are free to do whatever you want with your own Emby client/server as it does support css. Heck there is an entire sub forum dedicated to it.
