Hallo! Version 4.9.5.0-724090500

Hi, I use AI write some code. I used Tampermonkey to modify the Emby web version and separated “Cast” and “Crew” Screenbits 2026-07-18_123153.mp4 This is the script, It’s very rudimentary, unstable, and not suitable for TV shows. (To use it, copy and paste it into Tampermonkey. If the script doesn't work, refresh the page.) Emby separate-1.0.txt I also used AI to write some code to build an Android Xposed plugin (for information on how to use Xposed plugins, please Google it yourself; this plugin can be used on non-rooted devices via LSPatch). Screenbits 2026-07-19_071423.mp4 This is .apk app-debug.apk So as you can see, implementing this feature is very simple. Are you really not going to consider this feature? I really hope Emby can implement it! @Luke@ebr (You could make this an optional feature to accommodate those who don’t want to make changes.) Could you please respond? I’d like to know your official stance—whether this is a possibility in the future or if you’re unwilling to do so. I hope we can discuss this.

Or take my computer to a family members house that has 1gig upload speed and share it out that way, where I live we have no upload speed.
-
Any idea if this works/displays fine with the customisable rows Emby introduced recently to the home screen ? Ditto for the Emby spotlight ?
-
FourCorners started following M3UTuner 1.0.46 Installed on EMBY and Upload speed is real bad
-
My family always have problems using my emby because my upload speed is real real bad it's like 7 mb/s it does work good for them if they are the only remote connection but if 2 or more people are on it then it acts up. What i'm thinking is add emby player on there computer so they can download a movie or a show and connect a laptop or even there phone can download then restream it to there tv. Then they can just delete it after they watch it. Only other option would be install my server on there computers with the emby app so then would be apple to use there smart tv to connect to there computer and I could just limit it to 1 connection. If they have even a 1TB drive on there computer it would be enough for them to watch without buffering and delete when they are done. Transcoding does nothing to help as my upload speed is bad unless there is a better idea??

Android TV clients cannot authenticate through reverse proxy (browser and Android phone work)
Breezey replied to Breezey's topic in QNAP
Thanks for the clue. I'm not using Cloudflare or any CDN. The path is: Internet → Grandstream GWN7003 port forwarding → Nginx Proxy Manager → Emby. NPM is using a standard proxy host with: Forward scheme: HTTP Forward host: 192.168.20.10 Forward port: 8096 WebSockets: Enabled Force SSL: Enabled HTTP/2: Enabled No custom locations No advanced configuration Is there a particular request or Nginx directive you'd like me to inspect to determine where the POST is being converted to a GET? -
Still works perfectly that's all that I care about

I don't like AI in general, but can't say I dislike code generating AI more than the rest. I just look at the spectacular potential to throw thousands out of work and the potential for yet more enrichment of the already obscenely rich. Plus I see how useless AI is when trying to contact anyone with any kind of enquiry online and get some moronic AI agent. I also see the years if not decades or malicious software out there all (I presume) written by actual malicious humans. Moving out of caves was the first mistake we made.

OK. Does trakt have 0x03 on their website for this show?
-
Hi, you can see plugin release notes in your server activity section and/or the plugin catalog.
-
Actually I will use a pi for emby and nas I can just add into emby on the pi, I know people just love docker but i'm not one of them. Thank you.

Samsung Tizen app unable to play FLAC – infinite loading, no playback, forces AAC transcoding

Hi there, please attach the Emby server log from when the problem occurred: How to Report a Problem Thanks! -

Luke replied to Liskanet99's topic in Samsung Smart TV
Results in the dlna player will not always match what you see in the apps. We have seen cases where the dlna player supports things that the app player does not. By app player, I mean the one provided by Samsung for us to embed. -
Why is Jellyfin so much more popular than Emby?

Watch the first 20 seconds of this, you can make streama play live video at the top just like this. -

Yeah the client apps have not been the best experience but I never really used jellyfin with apps I only used it with the stream link for movies and series to make an m3u when I was bored messing around. But I mean setting up a shared folder with movies in it does the same thing so I don't really have use for jellyfin. If I was not using emby I would use jellyfin or streama, actually streama is better than jellyfin it's old as dirt just like me but you can make movie banners at the top andanimate them or have scrolling banners that say Coming Soon etc, you can brand it to your liking you can make it look and feel just like netflix and have the logo say netflix and animate it even favicon it and add the netflix login look. You can embed live links into the banners so when you click it goes anywhere you want, you can load live animated movie posters like this -
Rating Sync update (v1.0.5) Download: https://github.com/pejamas/rating-sync/releases/latest What changed: IMDb fallback api.imdbapi.dev is offline, so the old unofficial API path is gone. Fallback now uses IMDb official free datasets (title.ratings.tsv.gz, and title.episode.tsv.gz when episode IDs are missing). Direct title page lookup is still tried as a secondary option. Works for movies, series, and episodes when OMDb/MDBList have no community score. You can start a scan with IMDb fallback only (no OMDb/MDBList key required). Safer Run / scanning Failed selected-item queue no longer falls back to a full library scan. Targeted series/library scans respect Update Movies / Series / Episodes. Progress shows smart-skip counts, clearer status messages, and a better ETA. Cancel / resume status is more accurate. API usage counters count real HTTP attempts only. MDBList community scores only use an imdb source entry (not overall score/10). UI Rating Sync appears in the Emby sidebar under Server. Clearer labels for Both sources, test mode, targeted scans, and the scheduled task.

all of them. I gave the log and the picture. and I said this above. I even gave a very specific line right form the log file, and underlined it. but there are hundreds there to pick from beyond the one example. Im confused why you keep asking me questions when I give the exact details, and an exact example. Then you ask for the full log, which I give you, then you ask for an example..... but I've given this. How can I share this info more clearly? Its all here.
-
That's a series. What specific episode is having an issue?
-
OK that narrows it down but that doesn't isolate it to Emby Server. There could be something on the nas preventing the server from getting the requests. That's what it sounds like to me. If you're trying to access the server and you see absolutely nothing in the server log, then the requests are never getting there.
-
I've had no reason to, it simply works for me. If i get some time i might write a plugin. Good idea.
-
Address is definitely right. I triedcan experiment: 1. Start up Emby server on.my 2nd NAS 2. Change the port forward internal target IP to the second NAS 3. Open Emby app, turn off WiFi and click WAN host link Result: the second server is accessed and can play media. Conclusion: router port forwarding works when set to the second NAS server. Therefore it's not the router. Compared all Network and User settings in the Emby setup for the two NASs. They are identical.

I suppose using the V I linked above would be sufficient. I gave screenshots proving its in Trakt and has a watched state. But the Log file for Emby shows it doesn't exist. But please feel free to pick at any of the others. Im happy to confirm if its in Trakt if you think you find a culprit. Thanks

Hi there, can you please show a screenshot example? Thanks.
