No. It runs on truenas scale. With the published subnet of 192.168.30.35:9096 this subnet is just for emby and the clients. (Two KODI boxes and one TV)

Luke; I am wondering if I can setup NextPVR as the backend recording server and schedule recordings, access recordings, and manage recordings by using Emby android app that I have now. This might be a temporary solution while we figure out the recording issue with Emby server. I really want to stay with Emby. I have installed NextPVR and the Emby plugin but it doesn't seem to do anything. I don't see any NextPVR folders or menu items added.. First, is it even possible to schedule recording on NextPVR via Emby client? Second, can you steer me to details on how to do this? I have read dozens of posts and whatever I can find but they are not clear or I am missing something.

You might be interested in this new plugin being tested: Emby Xtream It can bypass ffprobe and startup is quick, especially if you use Dispatcharr w/ Streamflow. Also does VOD.

Gottem, haha! It's especially annoying if you're playing a huge list and have had it running for god knows how long, so the current item is somewhere outside of the scrollview. Good luck trying to find it (which brought me to this issue lol).

Are you running it in docker? 172.16.1.0/24 is usually the host's internal docker network.

Hi, Probably there is something about this in other post but can't find it so I will ask here... I recently notice that non of my androidtv are able to load the images for the "suggestions" row (not sure about the technical name of those rows that show up in your home screen with New stuff or things to play from sources). I check in a couple of mibox 2s and in a new onn 4k pro, the rows show up with text titles in each card but instead of an image is just "..." dots like is not able to load the image?...if i click on any it do open emby and the specific content fine, just not sure why are not showing up correctly...Netflix, youtube and prime are able to load their suggestions rows correctly, i try both emby versions the deprecated android tv version and the generic new one with same results... In a crapy samsung tv with tyzen os or wherever the name it does work!...the row load the image of the content just fine... What I missing here? Thanks!

Yes I miss the "zoom" one of the android tv versión of emby...also I have 1 title "galaxy quest" 4k where the fill or the other option (don't rememver the name) do nothing, is this a new feature under development for the generic android version?...not sure what to check to better inform about the issue....i using the emby android beta app ...

a new problem appears, If a serie have 10 episodes, there will be 10 icons displayed on the series poster, which is suited with the filename rule to one episode, like this.

I can see why Amazon went with Vega, The android build they were running was so bloated. But to launch with almost no APPs in the store is beyond stupid.

It is virtually impossible for us to investigate it because, whatever is going on, is limited to a particular device on your network. You are the only one who can do deep investigation on that.

When designing a theme, it's good practice to make sure text colors are far enough away from highlight colors. There is actually a site that compares colors and shows, if a color text on a background is good enough contrast for web. On the tester page, click on the color circle left or right on the page to change the background or text colors. === Also, odd that one selection works and the next one disappears. it has been released as a beta version now for over a year, you used to have the version set as stable because i upgraded from truenas core and when i did that it was official stable releases and then for some reason you started releasing only beta versions for the updates on truenas scale now we are all on beta version instead of official stable and this causes issues with emby showing all kinds of new updates ready and you go on truenas to update but there is never a new update there or an update is there but it isn't the one advertised on emby's dashboard it is a way lower version update. whoever is in charge of the truenas scale updates needs to get their things straight because this is pathetic at best

I just updated to the latest version. I had two spotlight tags set up: one using the Trakt trending list, which I had disabled, and one scheduled for Jan 20-Mar 15 with Best Picture winners, which I had enabled. The update merged them into the same scheduled tag with two source lists. Looks like it took the empty blacklist from the Oscars list, rather than the filled-out blacklist from the Trending list, so I have to do that all over again...

I see two, both of them apparently abandoned. And it would require a redundant collection being created; bypassing that was a big part of the appeal of your plugin. That's still one or two euros more than nothing, and having to create everything in MDBList. Or Trakt, were I to use that. Whereas Emby already knows which movies I own, what language they're in, when they were released, how long they are, who directed them, who starred in them, what genres they are, what their RT and IMDB community ratings are... I mean, a lot of this is just that from hearing about your plugin I expected it to be one thing and it turns out to be a different thing, and as I said I'm still getting some decent mileage out of the Trakt lists for Trending or Best Picture nominees or whatever. It's just frustrating to have come in expecting to be able to quickly whip up a film noir tag, or a horror tag, or a directed-by-David-Lynch tag, or whatever else, without having to recreate my database on another platform. With the subgenres I've been manually adding I could even do things like locked-door murder mysteries the week the new Knives Out drops, things like that.

Yeah I initially had mine set up the same way, it works well, the only issues you may face is if you lose connection to your NAS it wont remount automatically. I utilize the shortcut app script to remount automatically if connection is lost, you can do the same thing with SMB if you wanted to, it can be tricky to not have it throw errors and get stuck. I know there are other methods as well to do this but they are not as easy/have their own issues.

Ultro, Sure, your choice. I understand you would like Emby to work best with your setup and getting that done is a valid request. Does anyone get graphic subs to playback directly? I don't use those. If the graphic subs force an Emby transcoding, then it's your server that has to do it. Your comment says it's not beefy enough for 4K. So, hopefully, direct playback is possible. I was under the impression that graphic subs usually force a transcode. It takes about 30 seconds to 2 minutes to get the subs and make a new version media, without subs, for each 4K 2 hour video. It's not a transcoding level event. Of interest, is that all commerical streaming sites have already done this for all their content. They all do that automatically using some custom script.
