Advice for a rack configuration (Europe) ?

Yes that hard do to 1 / 2 unit servers usually only hold 4 X 3.5 drives. I reused an old tower gaming pc with 8 slots + a possible expansion of 4 extra drives in the 3 5.25 slots above Then flipped it on its side, now it only takes up the space of a 4 u rack enclosure. The rest of this is fluff This is my current setup. Sorry can't finde the name of the chassis. But look at PC Cases — Fractal Design those are often what people need / want. Choose Your Parts - PCPartPicker without the case.
  7. You may need to check your router for security settings. We have had instances in the past where routers or other security software have blocked communications from devices like a Fire TV to other devices on your local network.
  8. Please do this: Send the log right after the successful login. To be sure you can do this multiple times (because you have to turn on the debug option) set your login behavior to show login screen the first time you are in. Do you have a proxy of any sort? My suspicion is something is interfering with the app communication to the server.
  9. We are currently in the midst of an ffmpeg update. This should be re-evaluated once that is out in beta.

    Mediakeeper

Hello, Indeed, I’d like to release version 1.0 before publishing the project on GitHub. There’s still quite a bit of work to do, and I prefer not to rush things, even though I’m already spending around 4 to 10 hours a day on it. For now, I’m starting to talk about it in various places to introduce Mediakeeper, and also to invite people to join a brand-new Discord server. The goal is to discuss the project and gather feedback on needs that existing solutions don’t cover, or don’t handle well.
  11. Thanks But I believe I have followed all of those steps and as I said it works perfectly fine on all of my other devices except for my Fire Stick.

    Crossover TV series?

I still like the smart playlist approach for this. But playlists need a little more polish to really work well. Playlists need the ability to “subscribe” to new episodes from one or more shows. So when new episodes air, they are auto added. Playlists also need better filtering so watched episodes can be hidden. This helps for very long running crossovers or multi-show universes to help get to the next unplayed. Playlists can already sort by air date, so this can be kind of achieved with a manual playlist. Then when playing an episode directly from the playlist, whatever crossover-possible episode aired next will play next.

    Plugin: Home Screen Companion

Yeah, I can see that they use their own sources for the metadata but both apps do allow the import of IMDB watchlists under settings>import lists. This is an automated import (every 12 hours, I think). https://wiki.servarr.com/radarr/supported#imdblistimport Thinking about it, I can see now how this method would be an issue for Emby
  14. Thats ok Welcome Quick Start Connecting from Client Apps
  15. In the user profile on server side... Working on several computers, some with clear cookies on exit forced by company policies...

TLS built-in out of the box

These are IP based certificates which eliminate the need for domains. I should rephrase: They eliminate the requirement of a domain name. Domain names still good but not needed.

Nice I saw you post's on reddid, but no like to github for code review or any way to use it

    Plugin: Home Screen Companion

Sonarr and Radarr are using TMDB + scraping other DB's to do this with movies/shows that have IMDB id. They have there own metadata end point, that users use. Its a strange combo the a company like Emby can be sued for letting something like this live. I guess if this plugin can never be included in the plugin section, if it ever use this methode. @soderlundplease keep this in minde.

Emby Connect, what kind of black magic is this?

Upgrades? What does that mean? How is your router port mapping setup?
  22. What exactly do you mean by "how to". All I did was download the host APK from the website, install it to my device and add media through the browser. I'm sorry if I forgot any steps, I a newbie here . However I didn't find any instructions
  23. Did you read the "how to" ?
  24. Yes I did, I had an old Samsung Galaxy a21s lying around and I decided to use it as a media server.
  25. Example from today No context, other that does not work on this device
  26. Did you install the server on your own hardware?

    Crossover TV series?

Yeah, that gets really complex really fast, huh? And not just from an implementation standpoint (your specific implementation wouldn't really work because that's not how next up works). It would be quite confusing to the user to be bounced to some other series when watching a different one.
