On AppleTV, when in LiveTV/Guide, the guide data displayed is for ONLY the day in the top left corner of the guide matrix...i.e., "Thu, Feb 19". To see a different day's guide data (i.e., tomorrow, "Fri, Feb 20"), you cannot scroll forward or backward, you must use the date selector dropdown and pick "Fri, Feb 20". Please consider continuous/lazy loading of subsequent days as the you scroll horizontally, matching the web client behavior. I have a rating-sync plugin running, that will always overwrite any manual changes with "null" or "0" again if it doesn't find a rating in the IMDB CSV files that can be downloaded. This happens for very new movies, or movies with a low number of ratings. So manually editing doesn't solve the issue for me. Nice, it's fixed now. Thank you!

Thanks for the heads up. I haven't reported any issues or spent much time looking at the repo, but I will now. I still like it though, and it's getting very close to being a genuine PlexPy replacement. It's only taken about 8 years

Can anybody tell me what exactly the sync subdirectory in the emby library is and whether it is possible to have it be saved on a different mount? It uses up too much space over time for my small system disk.

and now that i'm back and connected to the server, if i click on delete (for movies in the download category) it deletes the download and not the content from the server...... I can also go in the download category in the parameters and delete them from there, WHICH I COULDN'T ACCESS WITHOUT BEEING CONNECTED TO THE SERVER Unless i'm missing something obvious, the way the download management is forcing you to be connected to the server doesn't make sense Try on your phone and let me know....

As per title. Using an Android phone. Steps to replicate: -Download full series via the usual manner -queue individual episodes for downloading -cancel full series download. Have now cancelled everything, cleared cache, forced stop, but the full series download resumes as soon as I resume downloads or reopen the app. All those downloads fail but its working through it file by file. Can't seem to clear this queue.

Removed the Episode, Installed 1.6.7 and then readded the Episode. Works properly now, thank you.

Exactly this. playlists cannot be used for TV Episodes. Here is what I want to use it for.. I have multiple collections of TV shows in different priorities. Shows I am watching now, shows in queue 2, then queue 3, all based on my preferences. The problem is I have a flat single level folder for all of this. I would like to do this: TV - Watch now - Second - Third Movies - Watch now - Second - Third Another thing I would like to be able to do is this, find a movie, oh i should watch that. Add it to a collection to watch. Why do I not add it to a playlist? My music folder has about 500 playlists so I cannot navigate it. Hence playlists are out. If there is an easy solution to this please let me know. Even 2 levels of collections would make organising a lot easier. The other issue is once I have watched a tv series I have to remove if from the collection watch now. This could be because the series has ended but the show has not. However I still watch this show in my High priority watch list as it is a good show. Often I forget about a show and its had a new series and I don't realise. Also there is the problem of series that have ended. So I have to create a collection for ended series as I might go searching for a tv series that has no next series.

It is a media server/organiser. It is a standard client server set of applications. It has a server it has a client. Show me the issue as to why you can have a series, then episodes within that series but you cannot have a collection and then a collection within that collection. it is a virtual file system. The metadata associated with each object does not change. You would have one extra field called sub-collection. "I can't think of an online example." Office 365, Libre office, Any Mail system, Gmail, Outlook, thunderbird, Macmail, Mail, mail (*nix) Any file system, *nix, Ubuntu, Debian, Rapberry Pi, Windows, OSX,..... Hello i face some issue with playing a Dobly Vision movie on android version. I own a Xiaomi Mibox TV linked to my TV LG G2 via HDMI. Firmwares are updated. Most of DV movies play well except for Profil 7. If i play the same movie (DV Profil 7) directly on Emby WebOS, it plays fine in DV mode. I have been using the ATV on my Shield Pro for ages, and tried and stopped using the Android version due to how it operates the Chapters features. With the ATV app, you can access Chapters via pushing the Up button after any other action to do with playback (apart from Sop obviously). That is, you can skip back or forward, then press up for Chapters, press down for info access to Subs etc then up for Chapters. On Android, you can only access Chapters via Up when nothing else has occurred and there is no on screen display, if you are in the Down button area, then you have to click down again, and another click to the right and wait for the chapters to load. Another major pain point is that the Android version doesn't show the current playback time. In the example screen shots below, you can clearly see you're at 33:04 on ATV. On Android, you have no idea. You only know that you're in the bracket 30:00- 34:59. If you are trying to skip forward 10mins as I constantly do with UFC, I don't know if that is two or three chapters. I could accidentality end up with playback into action I do not yet want to see. One positive is that it does show the Chapters are in 5 min blocks, but I know that already as I chose it in the server settings. I am new to Kodi, so there is a good chance that I don't know what I am doing. I have Kodi 20.5 running alongside Emby 4.10.0.40 on Ubuntu 24.04. I have Emby for Kodi 10.1.0 installed on Kodi and Kodi Companion 2.2.1.0 installed on Emby. Kodi works fine until I exit, at which point it hangs 100% of the time and requires kill -9 to end it. If I remove the Emby for Kodi plugin, then it exits normally. Any suggestions about where to start looking?

I have (with AI's help) implemented two monitoring user scripts to check every 5 minutes if the emby local web page is working, and if not, restart the container, and also to check every 5 minutes what the containers memory is (if over 8GB), and alert me, plus write to a history log file.

I can't change the title now - should I open a new post with the out of memory issues ? The first failure - I never check logs, just restarted. The second was what I posted this initially, and the logs. Since then its all killed with no logs. Related? I don't know.

Well your original issue was tvdb timeouts. I wonder if they're just throttling you.

AI thinks this was 4.9.5.0 a month ago ? but it also was worried about database changes....... AI says that was the stable 'latest' version as at mid May 2026. Today's straws I have clutched at - - deleted emby cache file and restarted container to rebuild - changed container to 16GB RAM instead of 8GB - but note I had tried 12GB when this first happened - hence why I think its a leak. - Removed subtitle and font extraction on the fly - Stopped frigate container from using the GPU - Stopped Calibre container from using the GPU (its all emby now). - Confirmed enable throttling is set in emby - Confirmed transcoding is to disk - Reviewed all transcoding remote clients - Contacted them to upgrade or I will turn off their transcode capability. Note - I rarely see transcoding, I tune my system to be direct play - I have a few non Emby for Android holdouts I am rounding out - as they seem to transcode.
